Day 1: Hanoi, Vietnam

Welcome to Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam by LVPTRAVEL`s Car Driver, we will meet and transfer you to the hotel, check-in and today is free at your leisure to rest or explore, discovering your own first impressions of Vietnam. Day 2: Hanoi, Vietnam

Hanoi City Tour full day (B, L) Having breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 8:00 am from your hotel by van. We will begin our day by visiting Uncle Ho, learning about his great life at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and his residential place. Next stop is the nearby Temple of Literature. The site of Vietnam's first University, built in the twelfth century, to teach Confucius’s theory to royals. Here we will also have a chance to see a traditional music performance. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant for a taste of authentic Hanoi Pho (noodle soup). In the afternoon, choose one from the numerous museums or temples around Hanoi (Museum of Ethnology, Women's Museum, History Museum or Quan Thanh Temple). In the late afternoon walk around Hoan Kiem lake and Hanoi´s fascinating Old Quarter for some great fun, shopping, and street side traditional food, maybe to try one “Hanoi bia ''. This is your chance to be part of typical Hanoian style and its traditional Vietnamese culture. We finish our relaxing but informative day by attending a Water Puppet Show, a favorite experience for all visitors to Vietnam. Day 3: Hanoi, Vietnam to Hạ Long Bay, Vietnam

Halong Bay - overnight on Cruise (B, L, D) Having breakfast at the hotel. Around 9:00 am we will pick you up, by private mini-van/bus, at the hotel and begin our journey to Halong city. After 3.5 hours driving and viewing the simple countryside, rice paddy life, you arrive at the port. Board your private boat, an authentic Chinese Junk, and start your amazing cruise through this World Heritage Site. Lunch is served on board, a selection of the freshest seafood. We visit “the amazing cave / Surprising Cave & Wooden Grottoes”, followed by a swim in the tranquility of Halong Bay and its emerald water. We will cruise further into a peacefully quiet area where we will anchor and stay overnight. Dinner and relax as the sun set. Then you are free to swim in the phosphorus water, retire to your cabin, or fall asleep under the stars amidst the magic of Halong on the top deck. Day 4: Hạ Long Bay, Vietnam to Hanoi, Vietnam

4 Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L) Wake up early in the morning for a great sunrise and a breath of fresh ocean air. Joining in Tai Chi Exercise with crews on deck before Breakfast served on the Junk then we do a leisurely cruise through thousands of seemingly never-ending islands. These are great opportunities to capture some amazing photographs, we stop to visit a floating fishing village and listen to some legendary stories of the fishermen’s daily life. Have lunch on the cruise while cruising back to the Halong city habour, return to Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi, Vietnam to Da Nang, Vietnam

Depart Hanoi/Fly to Da Nang - Hoi An. (B) This morning a flight brings you to the coastal city of Danang in Vietnam’s Central Region. You visit Cham Museum, an open-air collection of some of the finest sandstone carvings in the world, Cua Dai Beach, and the Marble Mountain, before you continue on to picturesque Hoi An, Vietnam's largest port. Known as Faifo to early western traders, it was one of Southeast Asia’s major international ports during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Hoi An was inhabited by Japanese, Indian, Chinese and Portuguese traders; the city is remarkable for its collection of original Chinese temples and glorious homes built by wealthy merchants of earlier times. Day 6: Da Nang, Vietnam to My Son Sanctuary, Vietnam

Half Day Tour to My Son Sanctuary (B) Leave the hotel at 8:00 morning. Drive to My Son, a World Heritage site, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Return to Town for lunch by yourself around 1:00 pm. In the afternoon, go shopping for free in Hoi An Town. Day 7: Hội An, Vietnam to Hoi An Beach Resort, Thành phố Hội An, Vietnam

Hoi An Excursion/Thu Bon River Boat Trip. (B) Enjoy a full-day excursion to Hoi An, a major trading center, once known as “Faifo” to the earliest Western traders. It was also an important port for the Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and other merchant vessels from the Far East. Visit a temple with partially gilded statues in the center, a pagoda dedicated to sailors and fishermen and a chapel with origins in the 1700s that reflects the influences of Chinese and Japanese styles. Stop at the Sa Huynh Museum, located near the Japanese Covered Bridge, which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history. Late this afternoon, take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to see the wood workers and shipbuilding families. Day 8: Da Nang, Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

8 Hoi An fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B) Today you are free in Hoi An until you catch the flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Picked up at the airport upon arrival. Transfer to Saigon for check in. Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Mekong River Delta, Vietnam

Mekong Delta/River Boat Trip. (B, L) Having breakfast in the hotel. 8:00 am, Tour guide takes you to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province. Situated on the Mekong River, 75 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the city is surrounded by orchards and rice fields, which produce grain for the entire country. Visit one or two of the islands that produce traditional handcrafts, coconut candy and bee farms. Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest one in the delta on your boat trip on the Mekong River.
