Are you ready to plunge into the world of outdoor shopping? Start with the largest clothing market in Central Asia – Dordoi bazaar, a place with over 40,000 outlets and an area of about 100 hectares. This is a world where unusual things can sometimes be purchased for the price of a cup of coffee! Have you experienced the pleasure of bargaining? No? Give it a shot to bargain at the Osh market where locally produced products and many nationally fermented milk products are in abundance. And the Madina textile market is an echo of the Great Silk Road and will surprise you no less when you can just walk between the stores and feel the bustling rhythm of market life.
Today we have to get up early, because we will plunge into the world of the bazaar and bustling life! After meeting you from the hotel, we head north 40 km. Dordoi bazaar, the largest clothing market in Central Asia, in the suburbs of Bishkek, existing from the early 1990s to the present. The total area is about 100 hectares, and about 40,000 retail outlets and employs about 150,000 people. Its own newspaper is being published. It works 364 days a year, the only day off is January 1. Opening hours are from 6 am to 3 pm. Closer to lunch, we return to the city and have lunch at a local cafe. The next market is Madina largest fabric market. A significant part of the population is involved in the garment industry and they are the main buyers. The shopping and market complex was built on August 25, 2001. The retail space of the complex is 6800 square meters. The third and main bazaar of the country is the Osh Bazaar.
