Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Delhi Airport, New Delhi, India to Delhi, India
Today you will come to Delhi International Airport where our representative will be waiting for you to welcome you. You will be provided with the necessary assistance during arrival and will be transferred to your hotel by sitting in a car. Spend the rest of the time roaming around the markets and see the beautiful culture of India.
Day 2: Delhi, India to Leh
Today morning you will be transferred to Delhi Airport from where you will fly to Leh. During this time you will pass over the high mountain ranges of the Himalayas and see the beautiful snow peaks. By noon you will reach here and upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. After this, you will freely visit various tourist spots of Le. During this time you can visit famous sights such as Leh Palace, Stoke Palace, Thiksey Math, Hemis Gompa, Namgyal Semon Gompa, and Shanti Stupa. Pagoda style beautiful architecture has been used in these sightseeing places and you will see Buddhist monks doing meditation here.
Day 3: Leh to Kargil
Today morning you will travel to Kargil and stop on the way to a beautiful village named Moolbekh This village is famous for a beautiful 7-meter high statue of Lord Mercury. This statue is made by cutting a huge chopped rock. On arrival in Kargil, you will check-in at the hotel. Kargil is the second major city of the Ladakh region which used to be a part of the famous silk route in ancient times. Traders of silk, brocade carpet, ivory, poppy tea, and some, etc. used to come to this place. Every year in May, an archery competition is organized in Kargil.
Day 4: Kargil
Today, after having breakfast in the morning, you will visit the city of Kargil. There are two major sightseeing Trespone and Sankhoo Imambara. Tourists come here to see these beautiful monuments built in Turkish style. Apart from this, Jama Masjid is also a famous attraction in Kargil. In the Kargil market, you will see merchants of specific types of goods. Traders here trade spices, trinkets, and raw sugar, etc. The most important items of Kargil's markets are dry apricots which are also exported to other countries of the world.
Day 5: Kargil to Leh
Today you will travel back to Leh and stop along the way to visit the famous monasteries like Alchi and Likir. There is an ancient legend associated with these famous places according to which it is believed that this place is inhabited by two great serpent spirits, namely Nanda and Dashako. These beautiful monasteries have beautiful carvings and sculptures on top of the wood. Apart from this, you will also visit the countryside here and take a walk in the small beautiful market. In these markets, you will find many beautiful items of Ladakhi style and handicrafts, etc.
Day 6: Leh to Delhi Airport, New Delhi, India
This morning you will be transferred to Leh Airport from where you will return back to Delhi. From Delhi International Airport, you will be able to take a flight to the destination going back to your home.
