Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar to Khugnu Khan nature
Early morning, we will meet at your hotel at 8:30 am. Drive to Khugnu Khan. It is a picturesque area of the rocky mountains, semi desert, Gobi sand dunes and steppes all in one location representing three different naturl zones. There is great opportunity to hiking, wildlife observation and photography. After lunch take a short drive to Uvgun monestery into national park through the semi desert and the interesting mountains and view. In the evening, we will visit to nomad family share their daily lifestyle. Accommodation: Ger camp Meals: Lunch and dinner Destination: 280km - 4.5 hours
Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Mini Gobi), Högönö-Taranaiin-Hüree, Mongolia to Karakorum and Erdene zuu monastery
After breakfast, short drive to elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes- surrounding by hills with willow trees, streams and bushes appear as a small desert in the centre. The sand dunes takes 80km long and 9-10km wide. We will ride two humped bactrian camels and visits to sand dunes. Continuing to Karakorum and Erdene zuu monastery. After lunch, we will visit to museum of Kazarakorum and symbol ruins of the ancient Mongol empire. The city founded by Genghis in the h entury. Here you can listen interesting monk chanting and Budhist sutras. After exploring, we will short drive to Ugii lake - is located upAup13m from the ocean level and it is pure water steppe lake which is 7.9km long 5km wide. Accommodation: Ger camp Meals: B, L, D destination: 80km - 1.5km hours
Day 3: Hustai national park to Ulaanbaatar
At 8am we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, we will visit to Hustai national park. This area is home to wild horse k own as Przewaliski wild horses. After lunch, at restaurant we will visit to small Ger information centre. If you lucky, you can see fox , eagle , vulture, deer, marmot and other mora. We will back to Ulaanbaatar at 6.30pm Accommodation: - Meals: B, L Destination: 380 km - 6.5 hours
