Have you ever been to a country that is 90% mountainous, where more than 40 thousand rivers originate and more than 2 thousand lakes can be found. Or maybe you have been lucky enough to visit a region where you can find almost all the natural belts characteristic of the northern hemisphere of the planet: the blue smoothness of lakes, vast expanses of mountains, either forested or deserted. Huge massifs of bare stone... And next to them - flowering high-mountain meadows, cold mountain streams. And above - a stunning spectacle of glaciers that do not melt under the hot sun of Asia. This is Kyrgyzstan, a country of striking contrasts. This country is located in the northeast of Central Asia.
This tour will give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the country, culture of this people, traditions and customs. You will definitely taste the local cuisine, will be able to communicate with the indigenous inhabitants of towns and villages. You will learn more about crafts and handicrafts, you will even try to make something yourself.
You will drive along the most scenic roads of the country and admire amazing landscapes: snow-white peaks, waterfalls, mountain lakes, canyons and meadows and moreover contribute to the development of sustainable tourism in the country.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Meeting at Manas airport. Accommodation in a hotel. Rest, city tour around Bishkek. Dinner in a national restaurant. Return to the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast departure to the town of Kochkor. Stop on the way at the ancient Burana tower. Stop at the panorama of Orto Tokoy reservoir. Arrival in Kochkor village, excursion to local craftsmen, show and participation in Shyrdak show, ancient art of felting. After we will have a hearty dinner and rest. Road trip: 380 km, altitude difference 800 - 3,446 m.a.s.l.
Day 3: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Transfer to the high-mountainous lake Son Kul. On the way stop at the high mountain pass Kalmak Ashuu. Arrival at Son Kul Lake, accommodation in eco ethno yurt camp Ulush Yurts. After accommodation we will have a Food show on preparation of Boorsoks. Then lunch where you can taste your cooked Boorsoks. Free time, you can ride horses or go to the lakeside. Dinner and rest. Day 4: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we will have a horseback ride to the sacred place of Tash Tulga. This three-hour ride will give you a lot of emotions from the surrounding landscape and horseback riding. Upon arrival at the place, we will have a picnic overlooking the lake. After the end of the active part of the day we will head back to the camp. Day 5: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Naryn Region, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast . Preparation for horse trekking. Meeting with the driver. Our start will begin from the place Daman Echki. Descent from Dzhalgyz-Karagai pass. The road is moderate, wide and safe, despite the fact that the slope becomes steeper in the middle. With every meter the panoramic view of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too ridge in the South changes. The highest point of the pass is decorated with granite rocks. Arrival in Kilemche. Dinner. Rest Altitude for 2 days: Son Kol-3016m, Kilemchi -2900m-3000m
Day 6: Naryn Region, Kyrgyzstan to Kojomkul, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Departure to Kozhomkul village, the beginning of the horse trek. Stop in the village Zhalgyz Karagai. Lunch in Kyzart village. Here we will say goodbye to our drivers and horses and go by car to the final point of today's tour Kozhomkul village. Upon arrival accommodation, dinner and rest. Kilemche - 2900-3000s, Kozhomkul - 2200-2600 above sea level.
Day 7: Kojomkul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Departure to Bishkek. On the way excursion to Kozhomkul village, which is named after the strongman. After arrival to Suusamyr valley, it is a favorite place of many tourists, a high-mountain valley of Kyrgyz Ala-Too. It is located at an altitude of 2200 meters above sea level and is 160 km from Bishkek. Lunch and stop in Suusamyr valley. Departure to Bishkek through the highest mountain pass of Kyrgyzstan Too-Ashuu. Arrival in Bishkek, farewell dinner.
