Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Arrival in Bishkek. You will be picked up at the airport by local guide and driver. Rest in hotel until noon. Afternoon city tour including Ala-Too main square, oak trees and other city sights. Dinner in local café. Overnight in the hotel. • Meals: B , L , D • Altitude during the day: 800 m in Bishkek
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Morning visit to local Osh market. This market is an authentic bazaar in Central Asia, popular with locals. Here you can find everything and buy cheap. The bazaar always plays an important role in people's lives, for most in the bazaar the market is the main source of income of his life. Then we drive in the direction of mountains, to the valley Chong-Kemin, where the nature reserve is located. On the way, stop near to the city of Tokmok, where we visit Burana Tower, a place on the Great Silk Road from the 11th century. Upon arrival in Chon-Kemin you can walk in the village. Day 3: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast at the family guesthouse. You will have the whole day in Chong-kemin to enjoy the nature of this valley. Here you have the opportunity: to take a walk through the village and to get to know the local way of life; to walk to the lookout point on the valley. Optionally you can ride horses with the guide and horseman. We will participate in the bread baking process. Day 4: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Tepke, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast transfer to the village of Tepke. On the way you can optionally take a boat trip on Issyk-Kul Lake. In the town of Cholpon-Ata, we visit the open-air museum of petroglyphs, which dates back to the 2nd millennium BC. - 8th century A.C. Transfer to the gorge Semenovka. Walk in the gorge along the river. Then we will drive to Tepke. Our last place for today is the village of Tepke - here is the farm "Reina Kench", which was created by the educated Ex-Minister of Agriculture, he breeds the real Kyrgyz horses and cows. And the owner makes a trip through the farm for us and introduces his horses to us, which participate and win in various competitions. Optionally you have the opportunity to watch a Kyrgyz national horse game "Kök-Börü". Day 5: Tepke, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast on the farm. In the morning, transfer to Karakol. City tour of Karakol with the visit of the Russian Orthodox Church made of wood, Muslim unique Chinese-style mosque and Museum Prjevalsky, the Russian explorer of Central Asian territories. After visiting the cultural sites, we will drive to the local Uyghur family where we have cook show Dymlyama or Lagman and dinner. Return to Tepke. Day 6: Tepke, Kyrgyzstan to Tamga, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, transfer to Tamga with the southern shore of the lake Issyk-Köl. On the way, we visit the canyon Jeti-Oguz. This place is famous for its red rock formations in the form of 'broken heart' and 'seven bulls'. The translation is "Seven Bulls". Locals tell many legends about this place. You will enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and the fresh air. On this day, there is still a high point the gorge Barskoon. In the gorge, you can see a beautiful mix of fir trees and different colored shrubs such as barberry, rowan, buckthorn, currant, raspberry and honeysuckle. Then drive to the village Tamga, where our yurt camp is located on the shore of the lake. This night you will have the opportunity to spend the night in the Yurta (home of nomads). Day 7: Tamga, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, transfer to Kochkor. On the way, we stop in the village Kyzyl-Tuu. This village is famous with its talented artisans, who makes wooden parts of yurts. The artisan will show us process of Yurts production. You have also the option to watch for extra payment eagle-hunting show. The hunter can organize us hunting with his eagles. In the afternoon, we reach the village Kochkor, where we will visit the felt carpet workshop, where you cannot only buy souvenirs but you can participate in producing them yourself. The members of the Women's Cooperative show and tell us how to make felt carpets. Day 8: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
Breakfast. Transfer to the mountain lake Song-Kul, which is located on the altitude of 3015 m. This is a popular place among the local people, who come here every summer with their families and cattle. You can do hiking to mountains, meet local shepherds, watch the shepherd’s way of life: taste bread and kumyz (the national Kyrgyz drink from mares’ milk). For walking excursion and visit nomads the guide will be with you. It is different possibilities of walking distances on Song-Kul. You can have free fly program for walking this day and stay along on the nature. If you like to do horse riding, we will organize this for you. It will be for additional payment. For horse riding we will organize local stableman for escorting. In The evening, return to Kochkor Village. Day 9: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, transfer to Bishkek. On the way, we pass Canyon Konortschek. Konortschek - canyons made of red Paleogene sandstone and resembling the American Grand Canyon with their miniature. Their beauty does not match the landscapes of the legendary movie "Gold McKenna". They are similar to the ruins of old towns, castles and modern skyscrapers. In these gorges, there is practically no vegetation. They were shaped by erosion that lasted millions of years. 2. Arrival in Bishkek. Check-in in the hotel. Rest before dinner. Day 10: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan
