"The Hunns" ethno-village is surrounded by ever green trees, mountain rivers and high peaks in the picturesque Talgar gorge.
During this tour you will get acquainted with the everyday life of the ancient Kazakhs. The hospitable atmosphere of locals and the traditional infrastructure of the village is unique. Local people wearing authentic national clothes will show you the main traditions, ceremonies and fun activities of our culture which you can also participate.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Гунны, Talgar, Kazakhstan
We will meet you at 10 am at your hotel and leave to The Hunns ethno-village. The place is located in picturesque mountain area 40km outside the city. The whole experience is very authentic and will introduce you to traditional kazakh nomadic culture. You will explore the ancient design and purpose of the nomadic houses - yurts in details, enjoy an amazing horse-riding performance (dzhigitovka), get to know bright ancient ceremonies which are used in the culture to this day, taste delicious organic lunch, get chance to go horse-riding and etc. We will come back to the city at 4-5 pm. And can drop you off at the hotel or any other place in the city center.
