Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Gorkhi Terelj National Park, Улаанбаатар, Mongolia

Our driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at an arranged time. We will travel about 1.5 hours to the great statue of Chinggis Khan. This statue is not only the largest statue of Genghis Khan in Mongolia but in the entire world. Its height is 40 meters (130 feet). From the visitor’s center, the top of the statue is accessible by elevator. This vantage point provides great photo opportunities. On the way we will see eagle and vulture and take picture with them. After that, we will drive to Terelj National Park. We will visit a nomadic family and have lunch with the family and learn from their culture. Then we will go horseback riding for an hour and hike up to Turtle Rock to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Afterwards, we will come back to Ulaanbaatar city.

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to White stupa, Ulziit, Mongolia

Our driver and guide will pick you up at an arranged time. We will drive for Tsagaan Suvarga or White Stupa (500 miles) which is incredible rocky formations about 60 meters high and 400 meters long. In the ancient time, this area was a bottom of the sea and very rich of copper. Tsagaan Suvarga is in the list of Mongolian strategic important deposits. Here your picture will come out as if you were on the moon.

Day 3: White stupa, Ulziit, Mongolia to Yoliin Am Canyon, Mongolia

After breakfast, we will drive to Yol Canyon (50miles) which is a deep and narrow gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains of southern Mongolia. The valley is named after the Lammergeier, which is called Yol in Mongolian. The Lammergeier is an Old World vulture; therefore, the name is often translated to Valley of the Vultures or Valley of the Eagles. When we get there, we will have a lunch. After lunch, we will walk or ride a horse through the valley.

Day 4: Yoliin Am Canyon, Mongolia to Khongor Els, Mongolia

Today we will drive to Khongor Sand Dunes (200 km away from the Ger-Camp). At the Dunes, the activities will include hiking or riding a camel on the sand dunes. Khongor Sand Dunes are the largest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. It is also known as the ‘singing dunes’, they are up to 800m high, 20km wide and about 100km long. A hike to the top of the dunes will provide you indescribable views of the desert.

Day 5: Khongor Els, Mongolia to Bulgan, Mongolia

After breakfast, we will drive to Khavtsgait valley and visit to Meditation monastery on the way. The monastery was restored recently by the initiative of grandson of the famous Buddhist monk used to live and meditated here. We will lesson beautiful stories about how local people worship and support the monastery and restoring of it. Here you may find your very own peace and release from stress. Then we will travel to Khavtsgait Valley and stop by one of the ancient rock art found in Mongolia. These are full gallery of arts covering many culture and tradition from Bronze Age. Here, we will visit a nomadic family and learn from their culture and tradition. If you want, you can learn how to make traditional Mongolian dish and can involve for their daily work such as milking goat and picking up dung etc …

Day 6: Bulgan, Mongolia to Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia

After breakfast, we will travel to Bayanzag, Flaming Cliffs. This is the only place that found first Protoceratops’s skull and rapacious Velociraptor and phytophagous Protoceratops' fighting fossils in 1972. Also, a nest of 15 infant Protoceratops fossils was found from here and it is still very important findings of the paleontology science. Here we learn how to distinguish fossil from fossil look Gobi stones. The flaming cliffs of Bayan Zag are a sightseeing destination of their own and provide a spectacular opportunity to view the amazing beauty of the Gobi Desert. We will stay with Amaraa's family.

Day 7: Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
