Fairy Meadows Tour
About this tour
Fairy Meadows is a green Pasture at height of 3300 meters which sits at the base of the 8126 meter Nanga Parbat Peak.
The place is famous for its lush green surrounding with Pine trees that gives a beautiful contrast against the back drop of the Nanga Parbat peak. Glacial waters and Ice trenches lineup the many tracks leading to daytime excursion spots.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad, Pakistan to Chilās
Ealry morning departure from Islamabad to Chilas. On way visit Shatyal rock carvings to . Continue drive over Karakoram Highway to Chilas Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Chilās to Fairy Meadows Cottages
Continue drive on KKH to Raikot Bridge. Transfer to local jeeps and drive onto Tatto village. Then walk for 2-3 hours reach Fairy Meadows. Overnight at huts.
Day 3: Fairy Meadows Cottages
Day spent visiting various places in and around Fairy Meadows. Day shall be spent getting closer to Nanga Parbat with the possibility of going to Nanga Parbat Base camp. Overnight at huts.
Day 4: Fairy Meadows Cottages to Besham City, Pakistan
Leave Fairy Meadows early in the morning and return back to Tato village transfer to jeep(s) continue to Raikot bridge. Here vehicles (mini van )shall be awaiting to take you back through KKH to Besham. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Besham City, Pakistan to Islamabad, Pakistan
Continue drive on KKH to Islamabad.Overnight at hotel.
