Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
Our route starts with gathering at the departure point, after which we head to Boom Canyon, the first stop of our trip. Here, we will encounter the Kok Moinok canyons, which are a true natural beauty. We will warm up and take a leisurely walk, enjoying the amazing landscapes and ascending to a viewpoint that offers magnificent views. Next, we will visit another breathtaking location known as Ak Sai or the canyons of forgotten rivers. Here, you will immerse yourself in stunning landscapes and nature that will leave you speechless. You will witness the power of nature and indulge in its tranquility and peacefulness. After these exciting adventures, we will head to the village of Bokonbayevo, where we will meet a berkuchi, a hunter who hunts with the help of his hunting bird, an eagle. You will have the chance to witness this amazing skill and learn more about this fascinating tradition. Concluding our day, we will settle in a guesthouse in the village of Bokonbayevo, where we will rest and prepare for the next day of our adventure.
Day 2: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
On the second day of our tour, we will immerse ourselves in the ancient and extraordinary tradition of eagle hunting. Accompanied by skilled and experienced hunters, you will have the opportunity to learn about the techniques and artistry behind hunting with these majestic birds of prey. As you witness firsthand the eagle’s agility and precision in capturing its prey, you will be engulfed in the spirit of this remarkable tradition. Through this unique and authentic experience, you will gain a deep appreciation for the bond between hunter and eagle, and the rich cultural heritage preserved through the art of eagle hunting.
Day 3: Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan
We will begin the second day with a delicious breakfast, energizing ourselves for further adventures. After breakfast, we will head to Shatyly Panorama, which offers a breathtaking view of the entire southern coast of Issyk-Kul. You will be amazed by this beauty and create unforgettable memories. Next, we will visit the Fairy Tale Canyons, where an exciting walk through the canyons awaits us. You will feel as though you have entered a fairytale world, surrounded by unique columns and stunning rock formations. These canyons are one of the main attractions of the southern side of Issyk-Kul. Further along our route, we will reach Barskoon Gorge, where we will enjoy the nature of this unique place and visit two impressive waterfalls. You will be immersed in the atmosphere of nature, its freshness, and beautiful views. At the end of our journey, we will return to the city, but the memory of this unforgettable adventure and the feeling of being fully immersed in the wonders of nature on the southern side of Lake Issyk-Kul will remain in our hearts.
