Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Arrival to Manas Airport in Bishkek where our team will pick up you and drive you to hotel situated in the capital. After relaxing in the hotel, our team brings a car to the hotel and you start your Self-driving tour. You can make a city tour in Bishkek. Visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square where the State Historical Museum is located. You can enjoy a walk in the Oak Park, one of the favorite places of local people. Bishkek is known as the greenest city in Central Asia thanks to its countless parks and alleys making the city a great place to live. After lunch, you will have time to visit the local market Osh bazar. Here you can appreciate the creativity and talent of local artisans. Just as you step the market, you plunge into the real oriental atmosphere: an interminable stream of people, a big variety of goods and colors. In the evening, you can go to one of the best restaurants in Bishkek where you can taste delicious Kyrgyz national dishes. Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Toktogul, Kyrgyzstan

Today your way goes towards the south part of the country. At the beginning of your journey, you will have to overcome mountain pass Too Ashuu (3500m). Then cross the wonderful Suusamyr valley, a paradise for nomads and their cattle. The goal of the day is to reach the biggest reservoir of the country Toktogul. During summertime you can swim in the lake and enjoy the breathtaking sceneries around you. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel (Kok Bel Inn or similar)

Day 3: Toktogul, Kyrgyzstan to Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyzstan

Today you are driving by the M41 road, it is one of the most beautiful asphalted roads through the Rock Mountains and the biggest river in Kyrgyzstan Naryn is going near to the road. Departure early in the morning and your drive to the unique Biosphere Reserve of Sary Chelek. Sary Chelek Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes situated at 1800 meters above the sea level. It was created because of a strong earthquake. The valley has also another six small lakes and wide river network. Here you find out the majestic mountains with snow-capped peaks touching the sky. Day 4: Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyzstan to Arslanbob, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, you will continue your trip towards Arslanbob, the unique walnut-fruit forest in the world. You can have a lunch in Kochkor Ata in the café. When you will get the small village Arslanbob surrounded by walnut forest, you can take a walk in the village. Overnight and dinner in the guesthouse. Day 5: Arslanbob, Kyrgyzstan to Kazarman, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, you keep the way towards to Kazarman village. You will cross the part of Fergana valley with its endless fields. The next pass on your way is located at the altitude 3030m. In the evening, you get Kazarman. You will be positively surprised by the hospitality of the local population. It is generally known that the people in the south part of the country are very welcoming and friendly. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Guesthouse (CBT Guesthouse or similar)

Day 6: Kazarman, Kyrgyzstan to Son-Kul Lake, Naryn, Kyrgyzstan

The goal of the day is to reach Son Kul Lake, located at an altitude of 3 000 m. Therefore, you will pass through the beautiful places you can see yaks and other animals. When you arrive in the yurts camp, you get to know the hospitality of the nomads, their lifestyle and their customs. Note: yurt capacity 6 people. But during the low season you can be accommodated 2 pax per yurt according to the availability. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Yurt Camp

Day 7: Son-Kul Lake, Naryn, Kyrgyzstan to Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan

The goal of the day is to reach the caravanserai Tash Rabat, so we should overcome a mountain pass Moldo Ashuu (3400m). Tash Rabat is a historical monument founded by monks in the 10th century. During the Silk Road history, Tash Rabat has lost its religious significance and the main function of the monastery was providing a stay for caravans and travelers. Note: yurt capacity 6 people. But during the low season you can be accommodated 2 pax per yurt according to the availability. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Yurt Camp

Day 8: Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan

New adventures are waiting for you. Breakfast in the yurt. Departure. You continue your journey towards Kochkor village. In Kochkor, the Kyrgyz women can show you the producing of the felt, which is used in making the different handicrafts (option). Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Guesthouse (Mira Guesthouse or similar) Option: felt show, folk show

Day 9: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Tamga, Kyrgyzstan

This day you are leaving Naryn region and entering to Issyk Kul region, the pearl of Kyrgyzstan. You drive by the south shore of the lake. On the road, in Bokonbaevo you can meet eagle hunter with his bird of prey (option). Later, you visit Skazka canyons, which signify Fairytale. Here you can find objects of surprising shapes and sizes. A real skyscraper or an animal may appear in front of you. In the evening, you can have experience with real Russian sauna in Tamga village (option). Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Guesthouse (U Pavla Guesthouse or similar) Option: eagle hunting show, russian sauna

Day 10: Tamga, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan

After breakfast, you go Jety Oguz valley. Its name means “seven bulls”. The name is symbolic, because there are seven huge red-brown rocks resembling ranked furious bulls standing together. Especially romantic look has the rock "Broken Heart" located at the entrance to the gorge. Jety Oguz is also famous for the place named Kok-Jayyk, Valley of Flowers full of poppies in spring. At the upper part of Jety Oguz there are also mountain lakes and waterfalls. When you arrive to Karakol, you visit its famous sights as Russian Orthodox cathedral and Dungan mosque. Day 11: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan

After the breakfast, you go towards Grigoriev and Semienov gorge. They are located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, 60 kilometers from Cholpon-Ata. These places are considered as the most famous attractions of the Issyk Kul region. You can have a walk, enjoy the wild nature around you and have a pleasant pastime in this beautiful place. In the evening, you get Chon Kemin valley. You stay in the cozy guesthouse located in Tar Suu village next to Kalmak Ashuu gorge. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Guesthouse (Kemin Guesthouse or similar)

Day 12: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Breakfast in the guesthouse. On your way you can visit the Burana Tower, it is an ancient minaret in the Chuy Valley in the north part of Kyrgyzstan. It is located about 80 km from the capital Bishkek, close to the city of Tokmok. The tower with funerary monuments, earthworks, remains of the castle and three mausoleums – that’s all what last out of the ancient Balasagyn town that was founded by Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century. In the afternoon you can visit the local market and buy some gifts. At 17:00 is return of the car. Meals included: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel 3* (My Hotel /Rixon Hotel or similar)

Day 13: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan

Transfer to the airport. Departure.
