It is 03 hours/ 200 kms drive to Agra in a Sedan Etios car. Sit back at ease & admire the beautiful landscape. Halfway you can take a break for refreshment. Visit Taj Mahal On your arrival in Agra, you will meet up with the Tour Guide in hotel, where you can use the clean washroom, freshen up & then move on to the Taj Mahal with your Professional Tour Guide. It is supposed to be the most beautiful example of expressing love by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, erected in 17th century. Note: Taj Mahal remain closed on every Fridays for tourists. After visiting Taj Mahal – Move on to Agra Fort Agra Fort is believed to be one of the most beautiful and well preserved forts of India. It was erected in 16th& 17th centuries. The massive structure holds a brief & great history of not just the Emperor Shah Jahan but also his grandfather Emperor Akbar - The Great. In this fort one can admire the grandeur, pomp and opulent of the palaces in red sand stone and white marble. It is said that Shah Jahan had taken his last breath in this fort. Lunch Break After seeing The Taj Mahal & Agra Fort, there will be a stop at one of the finest AC Multi Cuisine Restaurants serving the authentic & mouth watering dishes of this city. Apart from the Taj Mahal & other monuments, Agra is also famous for its marble inlay work, zardozi art work, leather things & hand knotted rugs. If time permits, you can also have a chance to see these artworks. It is said that when you leave the city, you leave the art behind. Driven Back to Delhi After spending couple of hours in Agra, seeing the monument of love -The Taj Mahal, palaces of Agra Fort & tasting some appetizing food of Agra, You will be driven back towards Delhi in the same AC Sedan Car.
