From Delhi: Taj Mahal & Agra Day Trip By Fastest Train

Pickup from any hotel and drop at Railway Station. Recommended Pick up Time: 06:30 AM – 07:00 AM, depends upon how far is your hotel from railway Station. Our Chauffeur will come to your hotel in any location to pick you up & then drive to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to catch the superfast train to Agra. Our chauffeur will make sure you sit on your pre booked seat in the coach. You will be provided train ticket either on email or through our representative. Train will depart at 08:10 AM. Breakfast will be served on train. Note: Do carry a valid ID proof along with you when you sit in the train, ID proof could be Passport copy, driving license etc. Train arrives at Agra Cantonment Railway Station around 09:50 AM Upon your arrival at Agra Cantonment Station, where the Tour Guide and Chauffeur would be waiting to receive you in front of the exit of the railway station (Agra Cantonment) with your name board and then take you to the magnificent monument of love and one of the 07 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. The monument holds a beautiful & romantic story of love and affection of the Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, which was erected in 17th century. Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on every Friday for tourists. Explore Agra Fort After seeing the Taj Mahal, the next place to visit is Agra Fort. It is believed to be one of the most beautiful & well preserved citadels of India. In this fort you can witness the grandeur, pomp and opulent of the palaces in red sand stone and white marble. The structure holds a brief & grand history of not just the Emperor Shah Jahan but also his grandfather Emperor Akbar - The Great. This fort was built in 16th & 17th centuries. After seeing The Taj Mahal & Agra Fort, there will be a stop at one of the finest AC Multi Cuisine Restaurants serving the authentic & mouth watering dishes of this city. Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah or Baby Taj It is a beautiful mausoleum which was erected in 17th century by Empress Nurjahan as a mark of respect to her father Mirza Ghyas Beg, who was the ‘Pillar of the State’ or the Chief Minister in the court of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This is the first Mughal Mausoleum, which is entirely built out of white marble. The exquisite tomb of Mizra Ghyas Beg should not be missed. Apart from the Taj Mahal & other monuments, Agra is also famous for its marble inlay work, zardozi art work, leather things & hand knotted rugs. If time permits, you can also have a chance to see these artworks. It is said that when you leave the city, you leave the art behind. Driven back to Agra Cantonment Railway Station After spending couple of hours in Agra & seeing the exquisite sights, you will be driven back to Agra Cantonment railway station to board the train Gatimaan Express back to Delhi. Our chauffeur will make sure you sit on your pre booked seat in the coach. The Train leaves from Agra Cantonment Railway Station at 17:50 PM. Dinner will be served on the train. Train reaches to Hazrat Nizamudin Railway Station, Delhi Train will reach Delhi around 19:30 PM and Our Chauffeur will be waiting in front of the exit of Hazrat Nizamudin Railway Station, Delhi with your name board to pick you up and then drop you to your desired location for your onward journey. Train from Agra to Delhi-12049 Gatimaan Express arrives at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station (NZM) on platform no. 2 at 19: 30 PM. Dinner will be served on the train.
