Day 1: Djerba, Tunisie to Douz, Tunisie

Day 1 – Djerba to Matmata to Sabria (Bedouin Tent) Our team picks you up from your hotel to take you on an adventure. Photo stop at Toujane Berber village – Enjoy the panoramic view overlooking the village and capture the moment in photos/videos. Arrival in Matmata : Visit Sidi Driss , the filming location of the famous Star Wars saga (Luke Skywalker's home). Visit a Berber family in their underground dwelling. They will likely offer you refreshing tea with rosemary or mint and possibly a traditional dish. Take time to admire the unique architecture, simplicity, and modesty of the inhabitants. (Don't forget to leave a little something for the family before leaving.) Lunch break. Continue to the sandy village of Sabria where you will spend the night in a Bedouin tent. Settle into your tent and wait to admire the magnificent sunset over this sea of sand. (Optional camel ride at sunset: extra, payable on-site.) Witness a demonstration of famous sand bread preparation , followed by a delicious Tunisian meal. Enjoy your evening around the campfire and admire the clear, starry sky where the Milky Way seems within reach. Spend a captivating and peaceful night in the serenity of the desert silence. Day 2: Douz, Tunisie to Tataouine, Tunisie

Day 2 – Sabria to Douz to Ksar Ghilane to Tataouine (Berber Lodge) Wake up gently and enjoy a good breakfast with a view of the dunes (or wake up earlier to witness the stunning sunrise). Head to Douz , the gateway to the desert, with its fine white sand dunes. Enjoy free time to visit the local market. Then, head to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane. Don't miss the opportunity for a swim in the hot spring (known for therapeutic properties). Enjoy a moment of relaxation in an exceptional setting. Take a walk in the fine sand dunes, which have changed color compared to Sabria and Douz – now leaning towards ochre. Optional camel or quad bike ride (extra, payable on-site). Lunch. Head to Tataouine for dinner and spend the night at the Gîte Douiret (Berber-style accommodation). Day 3: Tataouine, Tunisie to Djerba, Tunisie

Day 3 – Tataouine to Chenini to Djerba Wake up gently and enjoy a good breakfast with a view of the mountain and the village below. Head to Ksar Hadada , where some scenes from Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace were shot. Continue to the Berber village of Chenini , which offers a view of the mountain. Spend about 1 hour with a local guide who will introduce you to: The oil mill The mosque Houses carved into the mountains And much more Head to Tataouine , the city that gave its name to the planet Tatooine in the Star Wars saga. Take time to visit the local market and taste the excellent gazelle horns (local pastry). Enjoy a delicious local meal on the way back to Djerba. On the way back, stop at the salt lake of Chahbania for a photo break. Return to Djerba with a light heart and a head full of unforgettable memories.
