Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Osh, Kyrgyzstan to Murghab, Tajikistan
Meeting at the airport of Osh city, rest at the hotel Arrival to the village of Murgab, dinner and overnight in the guest house
Day 2: Murghab, Tajikistan to Chesh-Tyube, Tajikistan
Thermal medicinal source Yly-Suu. Along the way, petroglyphic drawings of Mine and petroglyphs. Sunrise in the Eastern Pamirs. Dinner and overnight at the guest house.
Day 3: Chesh-Tyube, Tajikistan
Arrival to the Kara-Jylga site. The real life of the nomadic people of the Eastern Pamirs. Delicious cuisine at an altitude of 5000 meters in the fresh air. Lake Zorkul, sunset in the Eastern Pamirs, wildlife. Dinner and overnight in yurts.
Day 4: Chesh-Tyube, Tajikistan to Murghab, Tajikistan
Through the pass Kara-Zhylga, the Ak-Buura valley. Picnic in nature. Ascent to the mountainside where the observatory is located on the Shor-Bulak site. A view of the high ice peaks of Muztak-Ata in height of 7546-meters. Down along the Ak-Buura pass along the way is a section of lightning incidence. Dinner and overnight in a guest house in the center of Murgab.
Day 5: Murghab, Tajikistan to Murghab-Tashkurgan Road, Murghab, Tajikistan
Departure to the Pshart valley and from here a trek through the Gumbozdu-Kol pass to the Madian valley. Duration 4-6 hours. Escort guide. Meeting on the site of Madiyan dinner and overnight in the yurt-stay.
Day 6: Sarez Lake, Tajikistan to Rangkul, Tajikistan
From Madian to Murgab along the Ak-Suu river, which pours directly into the Lake of Sarez. Lunch and departure to the village of Rang Kul. Overnight at the guest house. Lake Rank-Kul, caves Salyktash, Chyraktash, Matatash.
Day 7: Rangkul, Tajikistan to Alichur, Tajikistan
Walk on camels, yaks on foot trek. Lunch in Murgab, arrival to the village of Alichur. Lake Ak-Balyk, overnight in the village of Alichur.
Day 8: Alichur, Tajikistan to Bulunkul, Tajikistan
Arrival in Bulun-Kul. Source Geyser, an abandoned village Ak-Zhar. Lakes Bulun-Kul, Yashil-Kul. Stop at the guest house.
Day 9: Bulunkul, Tajikistan to Turumtaykul, Tajikistan
Arrival to the village of Gelondi, thermal spring. Further along the mountain road, ascent to the site Javshangoz site, along the way is Turumtai-Kul lake and it’s the next stop.
Day 10: Turumtaykul, Tajikistan to Khorog, Tajikistan
Arrival to the city of Khorog through the regional center of Roshtkala. Overnight in the city of Khorog.
Day 11: Khorog, Tajikistan to Kalaikhum, Tajikistan
The village of Kalai-Khumb along the pjanj river on the border with Afghanistan. Fortress Karon. Stop in the village of Kalai-Khumb
Day 12: Kalaikhum, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan
The city of Dushanbe on the road Shurabad pass, lunch in the city of Kulyab. The fortress of Khulbuk. Overnight at hotel in the city center. Transfer from the airport. (Or crossing the border of Uzbekistan).
