Nature & ethnic winter tour from the city of polar miners Vorkuta to Salekhard, capital of Yamal region.

6 days exploration of Nenets, Khanty and Komi nomads life and manners, local cuisine, Northern Lights hunting, etc...

During 2 days in the Vorkuta area, we'll visit camps of nomads, and then transfer by train to Salekhard where we spent 4 days, The highlight of winter (actually, spring) Yamal is the annual Reindeer Herder's Day also known as Festival of the North, held in the period end of March - the first week of April in few cities of Yamal. That's a real event for ethnic tourism amateurs: national sports games, folk costume contest, national cuisine, folk music, trade fair and much more.
