Full Day Agra Tour With Taj Mahal By Air

Day 1: Mumbai

You will board your flight from Mumbai to Delhi at 6:00 AM. Upon arrival at Delhi at 8:00 AM, you will meet your chauffeur and proceed to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, a journey taking between 3-4 hours before you will reach the Mughal city of Agra. Once you have reached Agra, you will begin by first visiting the Taj Mahal, a construction defining the undying saga of love between Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal has marked its position in the list of the Seven Wonders of the World because of its magnificent architecture, defining the tale of love of Emperor Shah Jahan. It is located on the banks of the river Yamuna, giving it an extremely soothing effect. It is believed that about 20,000 workers labored for 21 years to complete this monument, and on completion the hands of all the workers were cut-off. After this incredible visit, you will have time for a lunch break. If time permits, you can also visit Agra Fort, which was constructed in 1565 A.D. by the great ruler Akbar. This fort was robustly built and, has served a military purpose throughout history. Later that evening, you will proceed back to Delhi to board your flight at 10:45 PM back to Mumbai.
