The lush green hill station of Murree is the first choice for a weekend’s outing from Islamabad. An hour drive from Islamabad on a metal road takes you to Murree. Murree is Pakistan’s leading hill resort at 7250 feet above sea level, the climate here is cool in summers and very cold in winters with heavy snowfall. The town of Murree spreads over an area of 5 kilometers, in between Pindi & Kashmir points. Between the two superb scenic viewpoints lies the famous Mall Road of Murree, shopping center for all the visitors. Excursion to Bhurban, Horse riding, Chair lift ride and short walks on paved trails are other activities to do when you are in Murree.
