Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Yolin Am Ice Field, Mongolia

Meeting with guide and driver at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport, early flight to Dalanzadgad, the center of Umnugovi province. Visit Gobi Museum of Nature and History. Drive to Yol Valley. The valley located in National Park Gobi Gurvan Saikhan /Mountain of Three Beauties/ that stretches in the central part of the South Gobi province at a distance of 100 km, consists of three parts: western, central and eastern. Upon arrival lunch at yurt camp. In the afternoon we will visit the Yol Valley, with its picturesque surroundings, it is surrounded by sheer cliffs rising to 2815 m above sea level. Wild mountain sheep, wild mountain goats and other rare animals in the world are found in abundance in the park. The icy corridors of the gorge does not melt even in the hottest summer. Dinner and overnight at the yurt camp. (Lunch/Dinner)

Day 2: Yolin Am Ice Field, Mongolia to Hongorïn Els, Mongolia

After breakfast at the yurt camp, drive to Khongor Sand Dunes, that stretch for a 180 kms and is 7-20 km wide. The dunes lie on the northern part of beautifully formed mountain range Servei and Zuulun. The sound of masses of wind-blown sand can be heard from the long distance. This sound is so melodic that people call the 200m high sand dunes the “Singing Dunes”. We will have an opportunity to ride two humped Bactrian camel named by locals “Prince of Gobi” and see camel breeder’s everyday life. Overnight in ger camp. Lunch and dinner at the yurt camp near the sand dunes. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 3: Hongorïn Els, Mongolia to Flaming Cliffs, Mongolia

Drive to Bayanzag Flamming Cliffs, also known as “Flaming Cliffs”, formed 60-70 million years ago. Since then, as a result of several paleontological excavations and studies, about 80 dinosaur skeletons of more than 60 different species have been found. In the evening transfer to Dalanzadgad. Lunch and dinner at the hotel in Dalanzadgad. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 4: Dalanzadgad, Mongolia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Early flight to Ulaanbaatar. End of service.
