Road Trip from Shiraz to Yazd (around 440 km). On the way, stop by two of Iran’s most precious sites: Persepolis (UNESCO): the remains of the 2,500-year-old palaces of the ancient ceremonial capital of Persia, now one of Iran’s most treasured attractions. Naqshe Rostam Necropolis: A 2,500-year-old burial site for Achaemenid kings, with impressive rock-cut tombs. In the evening you will arrive in Yazd. At night, you can take a pleasant walk in: Old Neighborhood of Yazd (UNESCO): also known as Fahadan Neighborhood, a historical district featuring mudbrick alleys and traditional desert architecture. Overnight: Yazd
Visit the city of amazing desert architecture and Zoroastrian relics: Fire temple of Yazd: A Zoroastrian temple that houses a sacred flame that has been burning for over 1,500 years. Amirchakhmaq Complex: A 15th-century plaza with mosques and other interesting buildings in Yazd’s historical center. Dowlatabad Garden (UNESCO Persian Garden): A historical garden known for its unique wind tower and peaceful ambiance. In the afternoon, head to Shabahang Dessert to enjoy the incredible peace and beauty of the desert. Have a delicious dinner there. Finally, return to Yazd to spend the night. Overnight: Yazd
Road trip from Yazd to Isfahan (around 320 km). In Isfahan, visit: Armenian Neighborhood (Jolfa): a district of a nice atmosphere that showcases cafes, Armenian culture, and churches. Vank Cathedral: this 17th-century Armenian church blends Persian and Christian architectural styles. Si-O-Se Pol Bridge: A beautiful 17th-century bridge with 33 arches, spanning the river that runs in the middle of Isfahan. Overnight: Isfahan
