About this tour

Discover Gyumri, the cultural and historic capital of Armenia, on a flexible private day trip from Yerevan. Known for its unique humor, hospitality, and stunning 19th-century black and red tuff architecture, this city has a soul like nowhere else.

We will explore the historic Kumayri district, visit the impressive Black Fortress (Sev Berd), and stroll through the vibrant Vardanants Square. Along the way, we can stop at local museums or hidden craft workshops to see the living traditions of the city.

This tour is completely tailored to your pace. As your local friend and driver-guide, I will show you Gyumri through the eyes of a local. We will skip the dry academic lectures and focus on real stories, beautiful photo spots, and, of course, tasting the most authentic local food that Gyumri is famous for. Comfort, great company, and seamless door-to-door service are all included!
