This will be a combo Tour of Nepal and Pakistan. Both countries are home of "Eight Thousander Peaks", Pakistan has 5 and Nepal has 8 eight thousander peaks out of total 14 in the World and several 6 & 7 thousanders with the longest glacier routes, and high mountain passes. Nepal has World's 1st highest peak "Mt. Everest 8849m", whereas Pakistan has World's 2nd highest peak "K2- 8611m". Both countries are very diverse in Culture and Tradition, while Pakistan has deep route in history and oldest civilizations of the World with UNESCO awarded heritage sites.
All together, this trip is an incredible experience for you which has moderate trekking, cultures and traditional touch. You will be exploring the region of Sherpa's in Nepal and the region of Gilgit Baltistan in Pakistan. You will be driving through eight wonder of the World "Karakorum Highway" in Pakistan and flying with 16 seater ATR which will be landing at World's most dangerous airport in Lukla- Nepal. Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tribhuvan International Airport, काठमाडौँ, Nepal to Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal
You will be picked up from Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to our designated hotel in Thamel-Nepal. Overnight stay will be in Thamel-Kathmandu. Shopping and preparation for trekking trip the next day in Lukla. You can find all trekking outfit brands in Thamel near your hotel.
Day 2: Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal to Lukla, Chaurikharka, Nepal
Today, we will be flying to Lukla with 16 seater ATR plane. (The flight is weather dependent which can be cancelled due to bad weather sometimes). Well; if can not fly, we will postpond it to the next day. Overnight stay will be in Phakding.
Day 3: Phakding, Nepal to Manjo, Khumjung, Nepal
Today you will waken up early on the morning, have breakfast and start trekking towards Monjo. The distance will be 3kms. Well mostly people do it to Namche directly but we are keeping it as easy as we can. Overnight stay will be in Monjo.
Day 4: Manjo, Khumjung, Nepal to Namche Bazar, Namche, Nepal
Today you will be moving towards Namche Bazar. Namche is administrative area and centre point for the trekkers/ mountaineers going for expeditions are staying in Namche and are preparing things. Overnight will be in Namche and next 2 night we will be staying here.
Day 5: Namche Bazar, Namche, Nepal to Everest View Point, Namche, Nepal
After breakfast at hotel, you will be trekking towards Mt. Everest View Point, where there is famous Japanese Restaurant at the elevation of 3,800m. Other peaks you will seeing are Thamserku, Ama Dublam, Khumbila, Louthse and others. Lunch will be at Japanese Restaurant and visit Khumjung Village Back to Namche Bazar for overnight stay.
Day 6: Namche Bazar, Namche, Nepal to Thamu, Nepal
Day excursion to Thamu or Wander around Namche Village (Optional). Thamu is a village with beautiful and famous temple serving and organizing by Women monks. The temples is been shifted from Tibet-China while escaping from China Government when the practising religion became prohibited. Back to Namche for Overnight Stay.
Day 7: Namche Bazar, Namche, Nepal to Phakding, Nepal
After breakfast at Hotel; you will be getting back towards Lukla and there will be overnight stay in the way in Phakding.
Day 8: Phakding, Nepal to Lukla, Chaurikharka, Nepal
Back to Lukla from Phakding. Overnight stay in Lukla to Catch Flight in the morning next day.
Day 9: Lukla, Chaurikharka, Nepal to Kathmandu, Nepal
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. Check in to the hotel. After lunch there will be city tour around Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Thamel.
Day 10: Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal
Rest day in Thamel at Hotel or Visit Bakhtapur - The old city and home of Royal Family when there the Nepal was Kindgom, although before it became democratic country, the royal family of that time were living and ruling from Kathmandu Nepal. Before even that the Bakhtapur was home of Royal Family. Back to Thamel for overnight.
Day 11: Kathmandu, Nepal to Karachi, Pakistan
Fly from Kathmandu - Nepal to Karachi -Pakistan. Flight from Nepal arrive mostly in early morning to Karachi at 3-4am. After short rest, you will be flying to Islamabad from Karach. Overnight stay will be in Islamabad.
Day 12: Islamabad, Pakistan to Shangrila Chilas Hotel, Chilās
After breakfast will move towards Chilas early in the morning from Islamabad, Reach Chilas and Overnight at Shangr-La Resort. Drive on eight wonder of World (KKH).
Day 13: Chilās to Hunza, Hunza Nagar
After breakfast move towards Hunza Valley. Visit Junction of World’s Three Famous Mountain Ranges (Karakorum, Himalayas and Hindu-Kush). Nanga Parbat View Point, Rakaposhi View Point along the way. Short Stay at Gilgit City and Visit Karga Buddha, Reach Hunza at Evening , Overnight Stay at Hunza Continental Hotel
Day 14: Karimabad to Hunza, Hunza Nagar
After Breakfast will move towards Hooper Valley-Nagar Distt , Visit Hooper Glacier , Valley , Amazing landscapes and meet local folks , Fun , Leisure , Photography ,Lunch over there and get back to Karimabad , Visit Ganish Village (1000 years Old settlement) , Baltit and Altit Forts , Overnight stay at Dukair (Sun set and Rise Point in Hunza Valley) , Charming Views of Diran , Golden , Rakaposhi and Lady finger Peaks
Day 15: Hunza, Hunza Nagar to Khunjerab Pass, Pakistan
After breakfast move towards Khunjarab Top (China Border) , Visit Atta’abad Lake, Boreth Lake, Passu and Batura Glacier , Gulmit ,Passu and Khyber Villages , Sost Dry Port and Bazar, Hussaini and Passu Suspension Bridges in the way to Khunjarab. Get back to Gulmit and overnight stay at Marcopolo Inn.
Day 16: Hunza, Hunza Nagar to Fairy Meadows Cottages
After breakfast will move towards Raikot Bridge, Take jeep to Tattoo Valley of 2 hours. After having lunch at Tattoo Valley move towards Fairy Meadows (3,300m high above sea level). Reach Fairy meadows after 2-3 hours by walk trek and overnight at fairy meadows cottage.
Day 17: Fairy Meadows Cottages to Nanga Parbat Base Camp
After breakfast early in the morning will move towards Beyal Camp (Well known as view point) 2 hours excursion, have lunch in beyal camp and back to Fairy Meadows for overnight at fairy meadows cottage.
Day 18: Fairy Meadows Cottages to Besham City, Pakistan
After Breakfast will move back to Chilas/ Narran, Sightseeing’s and photography along the way back to Karakorum Highway. Reach besham for overnight stay at Hilton Hotel.
Day 19: Besham City, Pakistan to Islamabad, Pakistan
After breakfast will move back to Islamabad, Visit Abbottabad and Murree while the way back to Islamabad. Reach Islamabad for overnight at Islamabad Grand Hotel.
Day 20: Islamabad, Pakistan to lslamabad International Airport, Islamabad, Pakistan
After breakfast will visit and explore Islamabad city with major attractions in it. Drop off at Airport.
