Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Meet the loсal guide at the Ashgabat International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, tour starts of visiting the Horse-farmfor exploring the pride of the Turkmen people - Akhal-Teke horses. Traditional tea break, short Akhal-Teke horse show program and can see the racks of horses. Return to Ashgabat. Evening city tour - visit main tourists’attraction. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Derweze, Turkmenistan
After the breakfast, drive to the North of Turkmenistan, village named “Bahardok” to see village life of Turkmen people and have lunch. After the lunch move to the Gas Crater – Darwazathat is located to the North of Ashgabat, stop in a small nomadic village and in the evening, to observe the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater. Picnic style dinner. Overnight at the tent.
Day 3: Köneürgench, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
After the breakfast, drive to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, Capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. During the tour, visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, TyurabekKhanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, the highest minaret in Central Asia KutlygTimur. Lunch at the local restaurant. Dashoguz city tour. Transfer to airport for a local flight Dashiguz – Ashgabat at 20:10 pm. From Ashgabat’s airport drive fordinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
After breakfast, visit “Old Nisa”-The Sanctuary of Parhian Kings (UNESCO site), continue with “Gypjak” Mosque and Mausoleumof the late President of Turkmenistan. Lunch time at the local restaurant. Continue to visit the State Museum of History. It stores ancient artifacts found at the excavations of the settlements Nisa, Merv and Gonurdepe, collection of vintage Turkmen carpets, rare examples of national clothing, jewelries, and antique weapons. The 9 halls display figurines of Athens, Eros, silver gilded griffin, horn-shaped ivory vessels-rhytons of the Parthian era, gold jewelries, medallions-stamps from Margiana and Buddhist artifacts. There are also a fossilized piece of wood of the Paleozoic period, aged 270,000,000, dinosaurs’ footprints, an 820-kg meteorite fallen in Kunya-Urgench in 1998 and a lot more.Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan
At 09:00,visit Museum of Carpets. Lunch at local restaurant. Then transfer to the airport for a local flight Ashgabat – Turkmenbashy at 20:00/20:55. Accommodate at the hotel in “Avaza” NTZ. Dinner at the hotel restaurant, overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Awaza, Turkmenistan
After the breakfast excursion to Avaza hotel resorts which are located on the seashore of the Caspian Sea.Excursion to Sport Complex. Lunch at the hotel restaurant with traditional Turkmen meals. Excursion to Children Adventure Park. Rest time. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Awaza, Turkmenistan to Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan
After the breakfast, hotel check out. Drive to Turkmenbashy city.Lunch at the local restaurant. Busexcursion through Turkmenbashy city with guide telling the history of the city. Excursion to one the biggest Sea Ports in Central Asia. Excursion to Turkmenbashy bazar. Dinner at the local restaurant. Transfer to the airport.
