Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, He will explain you the itenerary in detail. Night in hotel in Bishkek.

Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan

Today drive to the Chon Kemin Valley is a beautiful valley and only about 2 hours from Bishkek. This east-west valley stretches for many km. into the mountains. It is rich in agriculture and forestry, an ideal place for riding and trekking. The location of your guesthouse is at the edge of the forest. After lunch you can start horse riding for about 4 hours. Supper and overnight stay in guesthouse.

Day 3: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan

Horse riding in Chon-Kemin valley. In 1997 a national park was established here with a total area of 5,000 hectares. It includes all the forests of the Kemin District and is inhabited with unique species of flora and fauna. Horse riding today in the mountains, it is possible to ride to the Green Lake at 3200m. Picknick lunch. Return to the guesthouse in the afternoon

Day 4: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan

Leave Chon Kemin after breakfast and through the Boom gorge to the south side of Lake Issyk-Kul. By car to the village Temir-Kanat at 2300m, from here on horse back a short ride to the yurt camp at a plateau above the village. (alt. 2450m). from where you have a wonderful view at the lake and the snowcapped mountains at the other side of the lake. After lunch you can ride in the surrounding mountains. Stay in yurt.

Day 5: Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan

Horse riding in the mountains, for good riders it is possible to reach the glacier south of the yurt camp. But also, for those who have less experience it is possible to ride up and visit herdsmen who stay in the mountains during the summer months and taste Kymys, fermented mare milk, a traditional delicacy for the Kyrgyz. Day 6: Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Departure to Bishkek. On the way you will visit he Burana Tower and museum, not far from the town of Tokmok – an architectural complex of the 10e century which survived from the times of the Great Silk Road. In the middle ages it was a city of Balasagun that was the capital of the Karachanid Khaganate – a Turkish dynasty of that time. You will see the 24 meter minaret and mausoleums which were reconstructed also see Balbal, grave stones from the middle ages. Arrive in Bishkek in the afternoon.

Day 7: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan
