Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Kol Kogur, Kyrgyzstan
Day 1. Bishkek - Chon-Kemin (ca. 150 km) Early departure from the hotel to the Chon-Kemin Natural Park. Upon arrival, we meet with a horse guide who will give instructions. After which we begin our horseback riding journey. Kaindy village - Toru-Aigyr (3.5-4 hours) Today we will gain altitude, our route passes through mountainous, forested areas. Lunch on the way. Upon arrival, we will set up camp and cook dinner over the fire. Overnight in a tent.
Day 2: Kol Kogur, Kyrgyzstan to Chyrpykty, Kyrgyzstan
Day 2: After breakfast we continue our adventure to the magnificent Kol Kogur Lake. (3.5-4 hours) We will cross 3 beautiful passes, from the tops of which you will be able to see incredible panoramic views of the gorge below. Today our camp will be located next to the lake. You will have time to enjoy the beauty of nature and make beautiful content. Lunch and dinner at the camp. Overnight in a tent.
Day 3: Chyrpykty, Kyrgyzstan to Toru Aygyr, Kyrgyzstan
Day 3. Toru-Aigyr - Saz. (3.5-4.5 hours) Saz means swamp in Kyrgyz, because the ground is wet due to groundwater running at shallow depths. Breakfast at the camp. Today we will ride horses to the rocky mountains to an altitude of about 3000 m. to the Tor-Aigyr pass, where you will see a different landscape and descend into the Issyk-Kul region. On the way we will have a picnic. From the camp you can see the pearl of Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kul Lake. Enjoy views of the lake and the starry night sky. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4: Chyrpykty, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Day 4. Saz - Issyk-Kul (3-3.5 hours) - Bishkek (ca. 220 km) Breakfast at the camp. Today we continue the horseback riding tour down the mountain valley, where you can enjoy views of the lake for almost the entire ride. Below, a car will be waiting for us in which we will return to Bishkek.
