Day 1: Shavat border, dashoguz to Darvaza, Ahal
Early this morning, embark on a journey across the border from Uzbekistan into Turkmenistan at the Shavat border crossing. After completing the necessary border formalities, you will be met by our local representative for the drive to Dashoguz. En route, we will visit the captivating ruins of Kunya Urgench, once a thriving city with an estimated 30,000 inhabitants. Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Darvaza Gas Crater, a truly unique and awe-inspiring natural phenomenon. (optional choice). The captivating geological formation, nicknamed the "Door to Hell," is a massive crater continuously ablaze with natural gas, creating a mesmerizing spectacle in the heart of the Karakum Desert. In the evening arrive at the crater site and witness the otherworldly glow as the flames illuminate the night sky. Day 2: Darvaza, Ahal to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
Early in the morning enjoy a delightful picnic-style breakfast amidst the unique scenery surrounding the Darvaza Gas Crater. Embark on a scenic drive to Ashgabat, the gleaming white marble capital of Turkmenistan. After a long trip from Darvaza, take a rest at the hotel.
Day 3: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat Turkmenistan
Early in the morning have leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of Ashgabat with a comprehensive city tour. Discover Nisa that was the ancient capital of the Parthian Empire, located near modern-day Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.Consisted of "Old Nisa" (Parthaunisa) - a large citadel and "New Nisa" - a lower city. Day 4: Ashgabat, turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport
In the morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel to prepare for your departure. Transfer comfortably from your hotel to Ashgabat International Airport. Optional: Transfer to the Turkmen-Uzbek border "Shavat".
