Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Манас, Киргизия to Бишкек, Киргизия
Arrival to Manas Airport in Bishkek where our team will pick up you and drive you to hotel situated in the capital. After breakfast in hotel, we start our city tour in Bishkek. We will visit the heart of the city, Ala-Too Square where the State Historical Museum is located. After the tour in the museum, we can enjoy a walk in the Oak Park, one of the favorite places of local people. Bishkek is known as the greenest city in Central Asia thanks to its countless parks and alleys making the city a great place to live. After lunch, we will have time to visit the local market Osh bazar. Here you can appreciate the creativity and talent of local artisans. Just as you step the market, you plunge into the real oriental atmosphere: an interminable stream of people, a big variety of goods and colors. In the evening, we go to one of the best restaurants in Bishkek where you can taste delicious Kyrgyz national dishes. Accommodation: Hotel 3* (My Hotel or similar)
Day 2: Бишкек, Киргизия to Токтогул, Киргизия
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure. In the beginning of our trip, you have to overcome two mountain passes Too Ashuu and Alabel. You cross the wonderful Suusamyr valley, a paradise for nomads and their cattle. Our way goes to Toktogul, where we find the largest reservoir of Kyrgyzstan. Lunch on the road in the café. We can have a walk in the shore of artificial lake and enjoy the fascinating sceneries around us. Dinner in the hotel. Accommodation: Hotel (Kok Bel Inn or similar)
Day 3: Токтогул, Киргизия to озеро Сары-Челек, Киргизия
Departure after breakfast. Our goal is to get the unique Biosphere Reserve of Sary Chelek. Lunch on the road or upon arrival to the guesthouse. Sary Chelek Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes situated at 1800 meters above the sea level. It was created because of a strong earthquake. The valley has also another six small lakes and wide river network. The physical location of the Sary Chelek reserve caused its mild climate: warm summers and winters with little snow. A significant part of the area is occupied by walnut, apple and pear wood. As you arrive to Sary Chelek you can take a walk to the lake. Overnight and dinner at the guesthouse. Day 4: озеро Сары-Челек, Киргизия to Арстанбап, Киргизия
After breakfast, you will continue the trip towards Arslanbob, the unique walnut-fruit forest in the world. During the transfer, you can appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and take pictures. You ride along the largest and the most important river of Kyrgyzstan Naryn. On the road, we will stop to have a lunch. In the evening we get the small village Arslanbob surrounded by walnut forest. Overnight and dinner in the guesthouse. Accommodation: Guesthouse (Zahid Guesthouse or similar) * *It is not allowed smoking and drinking the alcohol in the guesthouse
Day 5: Арстанбап, Киргизия
Breakfast in the guesthouse. Then you go to explore the majestic walnut forests of Arslanbob. You take a walk to the first small waterfall of 25 meters. After, we go up to the panoramic point with a beautiful view where we can see the entire valley. Here you can take the beautiful photos. Later we continue our walk towards the second waterfall. Our way passes through the walnut forests where we will have the picnic. Dinner with the family in the guesthouse. Accommodation: Guesthouse (Zahid Guesthouse or similar)* Option: excursion with horses or with Russian SUV UAZ *It is not allowed smoking and drinking the alcohol in the guesthouse
Day 6: Арстанбап, Киргизия to Казарман, Киргизия
After breakfast, we keep our road to Kazarman village. You will cross the part of Fergana valley with its endless fields. We stop in Jalal Abad to have lunch in the local restaurant. In the evening, we get Kazarman. You will be positively surprised by the hospitality of the local population. It is generally known that the people in the south part of the country are very welcoming and friendly. Overnight and dinner in the guesthouse. Accommodation: Guesthouse (CBT Guesthouse)
Day 7: Казарман, Киргизия to Ozero Sonkel', Киргизия
Breakfast in the guesthouse. The goal of the day is to reach Son Kul Lake, located at an altitude of 3 000 m. Therefore, we will pass through the beautiful places we can see yaks and other animals. When we arrive in the yurts camp, you get to know the hospitality of the nomads, their lifestyle and their customs. Note: yurt capacity 6 people. But during the low season you can be accommodated 2 pax per yurt according to the availability. Accommodation: Yurt camp Option: national horse games demonstration, horse riding
Day 8: Ozero Sonkel', Киргизия to Таш-Рабат, Киргизия
After breakfast in the yurt we continue our trip. The goal of the day is to reach the caravanserai Tash Rabat, so we should overcome a mountain pass called Moldo Ashuu. Tash Rabat is a historical monument founded by monks in the 10th century. During the Silk Road history, Tash Rabat has lost its religious significance and the main function of the monastery was providing a stay for caravans and travelers. Lunch in the restaurant in Naryn and dinner in the yurt in Tash Rabat. Note: yurt capacity 6 people. But during the low season you can be accommodated 2 pax per yurt according to the availability. Day 9: Таш-Рабат, Киргизия to Кочкор, Киргизия
Breakfast in the yurt. Departure towards Kochkor village. On the way we pass Naryn and we overcome Dolon pass (3000m). In Kochkor, the Kyrgyz women show you the producing of the felt, which is used in making the different handicrafts (option). You can take a shower and have a rest in the guesthouse. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse. Accommodation: Guesthouse (Umosh Guesthouse or similar) Option: felt show
Day 10: Кочкор, Киргизия to Тамга, Киргизия
In the morning after breakfast, we go towards the biggest lake of the country Issyk Kul Lake, the pearl of Kyrgyzstan. We go by the south shore of the and make stops in some places. On the road, in Bokonbaevo we meet eagle hunter with his bird of prey (option). Lunch in the guesthouse or yurt camp. Later, we visit Skazka canyons, which signify Fairytale. Here you can find objects of surprising shapes and sizes. A real skyscraper or an animal may appear in front of you. In the evening, when we get Tamga you will try a real Russian sauna. Day 11: Тамга, Киргизия to Каракол, Киргизия
After breakfast, we go towards Jety Oguz valley. Its name means “seven bulls”. The name is symbolic, because there are seven huge red-brown rocks resembling ranked furious bulls standing together. Especially romantic look has the rock "Broken Heart" located at the entrance to the gorge. You can take a walk in the gorge and enjoy the beautiful sceneries and fresh mountain air. When we get Karakol, we will visit its famous sights as Russian Orthodox cathedral and Dungan mosque. At restaurant for a dinner, you can taste the typical dish of this region ¨ ashlan fu¨, Dungan traditional cuisine. Day 12: Каракол, Киргизия to Чолпон-Ата, Киргизия
After the breakfast, we go towards Grigoriev and Semienov gorge. They are located on the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake, 60 kilometers from Cholpon Ata. These places are considered as the most famous attractions of the Issyk Kul region. We drive to the first lake at Grigoriev Gorge and we will have a picnic on the shore (if the weather is nice). You can have a walk, enjoy the wild nature around you and have a pleasant pastime in this beautiful place. In Cholpon Ata, we can visit the cultural and spiritual center Ruh Ordo. Before the dinner you can relax on the beach and swim in the lake. Dinner in the local restaurant. Accommodation: Hotel 4* (Kapriz Hotel or similar) Option: boat trip
Day 13: Чолпон-Ата, Киргизия to Бишкек, Киргизия
The road to Bishkek passes through the Boom gorge. On the road, we visit Burana Tower located about 80 km from the capital. The tower with funerary monuments, earthworks, remains of the castle and three mausoleums – that’s all what last out of the ancient Balasagyn town that was founded by Karakhanids at the end of the ninth century. After lunch, we will have time to visit the local market and buy some presents. In the evening, we will have the farewell dinner at traditional Kyrgyz restaurant. Accommodation: Hotel 3* (My Hotel 3* or similar)
Day 14: Бишкек, Киргизия to Манас, Киргизия
