Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Delhi, India
Welcome by our representative during your arrival at Delhi International Airport. Transfer to the hotel with the provision of necessary assistance at the airport. If time permits, spend the rest of the time roaming around the beautiful markets and enjoying Indian cuisine.
Day 2: Delhi, India
Today is the day you will go sightseeing in Delhi. In the morning you will start a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi with a bird's eye view of the Red Fort. In Delhi, you will first visit Jama Masjid, which is the largest and oldest mosque in India. This mosque has been constructed with white marble and red sandstone and has a magnificent sculpture inside it. After this, you will go to see the glare of Chandni Chowk and see the corridors of traditional merchant shops here. You will also experience the beautiful ride of a rickshaw in the crowded streets here. Finally, we will visit Rajghat, which is the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi, located in Old Delhi. After lunch, we will go sightseeing in New Delhi. Two major monuments to be visited in New Delhi are Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb. Both these monuments are marvels of ancient architecture and a major attraction in New Delhi. After this, you will finally see drive-thru view of India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and many of the ancient government buildings of British rule.
Day 3: Delhi, India to Agra, India
Today after breakfast in the morning, you will travel from Delhi to Agra and reach Agra, first check-in the hotel. After this, you will go sightseeing in Agra. First of all, you will go to visit the Red Fort of Agra. This huge fort is made of red sandstone and there are many beautiful structures inside this fort. It has large public halls, courts, gardens, palaces, pavilions, etc. structures. After this, you will go to see the beauty of the Taj Mahal in the evening. Taj Mahal is an extremely beautiful marble stone mausoleum situated on the banks of river Yamuna. Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz. He used to love his wife a lot, due to this he is also remembered as a sign of love. The beauty of the Taj Mahal is enhanced by the red light of the sun rising in the evening. This beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Day 4: Agra, India to Jaipur, India
After breakfast this morning, you will travel from Agra to Jaipur. On the way, we will stop for sightseeing in the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal rulers as their new capital. But due to the acute shortage of water at this place, the capital had to be shifted to Delhi again. Since then, the city was deserted and is also known as The Ghost City. There is a huge fort in Fatehpur Sikri, inside which there are palace gardens and many ancient structures. The major attraction here is the Buland Darwaza, which is the largest gateway in the world. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, they will continue their journey to Jaipur and reach Jaipur by evening and check-in the hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur, India
After breakfast this morning you will go to see the great forts located in Jaipur. You will start at Amber Fort, which is located 12 km from the city of Jaipur. This fort is situated on the top of a hill, which you will climb while riding a decorated elephant. The fort has a beautiful palace complex with a museum of ancient weapons, ornaments, and hunting-related paintings. After visiting Amber Fort, you will visit Jaigad Fort which is situated on the high hill behind the Amber Fort. This fort was built to give additional security to the Amber Fort and the palace complex inside it. Jaigarh Fort is 3 km in length and 1 km in width. In the ancient times, this fort was used to be deployed in the world's largest cannons, one of which Jaivana cannon is still present. After this, you will go to visit Nahargarh Fort. The fort of Nahargarh is situated atop a hill adjacent to the city of Jaipur. This fort forms a strong defense ring for the city of Jaipur. The view of this fort Jaipur city in the evening looks very amazing. You can also see the beautiful colorful view of Jaipur city while having dinner in a nice restaurant located here. After that, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur, India
Today you will go to visit the Galtaji Temple, located 10 km from Jaipur. Galtaji is a series of temples situated in the middle of a narrow crevice of hills. A natural water spring is also present here where pilgrims take a holy dip in the holy tank. The major attraction of this place is the monkeys found here which are very friendly with humans. After visiting the Galtaji temple, you will go sightseeing inside Jaipur city. First of all, you will visit Jaipur City Palace and see the beauty of unprecedented carvings and paintings in this beautiful palace. After this, you will visit Jantar Mantar, which is a unique astronomical plant of ancient times, having a panoramic view of Hawa mahal. In the end, you will take a guided tour of The Pink City Market and enjoy shopping in a market full of traditional items.
Day 7: Jaipur, India to Delhi, India
After breakfast in the morning, you will travel back to Delhi and on reaching Delhi you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport. From here you will be able to fly to your homecoming. With this, this tour related to Indian culture and historical heritage ends here.
