Islamabad To Khunjarab Pass

Day 1

• Journey through Mansehra, Shinkiari, Battagram on Karakoram Highway (KKH). OR Babusar pass

• Crossing through Indus River and passing through Besham, Dasu and Diamer-Bhasha dam sites

• Passage and stops at Tata Pani (hot spring), Raikot Bridge, Nanga Parbat peak (above 8126m) view

• point, Three Junction Point (where Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindukush meet)

• Check-in and rest at hotel in Karimabad (Hunza)

• Night stay in Karimabad

Day 2

• Visit to and presentation inside Baltit Fort (more than 900 years old) in Karimabad

• Excursion/drive to highest view point (Duikar) in Hunza-Nagar (witness sunset on white peaks)

• Visit to Eagle’s nest

Day 3

• Departure for Pak-China Border (Khunjerab Pass – highest road border in the world)

• Passage through Ganish bridge & ancient rock carvings

• Boat ride/travel through famous Attabad lake (compulsory for journey)

• Passage through Hussany glacier, view of Passu Catheral/Cones (above 6000) and Shispar peak

• Pass through Passu peak and Batura (world’s 4th largest glacier) view points

• Cross through Wildlife Conservation Area in Khyber

• Enter Khunjerab National Park in Deh

• View wildlife habitats for ibex, snow leopards etc

• Reach Pak-China border and get stunned by the natural environment

• Eat packed/picnic lunch on Pak-China Border (4733m)

• Shopping time on return in Sost

Day 4

• Trip to and presentation inside Altit Fort (more than 700 years old)

• Walk in Hunza on irrigation channel and view of snow-capped peaks (Lady Finger, Diran, Ultar),

• settlements and cultural activities

• Visit to Mountain cup cafe - famous for walnut cake (optional)

Day 5

• Free-roaming time in Karimabad (shopping time in market for handicraft, gemstones, dry-fruits,

• fruit-products etc)

Day 6

• Morning drive to Gilgit

• Rest at Rakaposhi view point

• View of ancient Silk Route

• Departure for Islamabad (early morning)

• Arrival in Islamabad
