About this tour
Lake Issyk, formed about 8000 years ago, is located in the Issyk Gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau, about 70 km from the city of Almaty.
The lake is surrounded by mountains and has a very beautiful turquoise color. Issyk Lake, like Bao, can change color several times a day, which attracts tourists to visit this mysterious place!

Bear Waterfall is located in the Turgen gorge, 70 km from the city of Almaty, in the Ile-Alatau National Park. Turgen gorge has 7 waterfalls, but the Bear Waterfall is considered the most popular among tourists, since the walking time to it will be about an hour and a half. On the way to the waterfall, there is also something to see, a bubbling river, small wooden bridges, picnic lawns, majestic mountains. In summer, this place is famous for its lush greenery, and a variety of herbs and flowers.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Almaty, Kazakhstan to Lake Issyk, Kazakhstan
Departure from Almaty In the morning I will pick you up from the designated address and you will go to the Bear Waterfall (85 km, about 2 hours) Arrival at Bear Falls Upon arrival, you will have a trekking tour (2.5 km, 2 hours). Departure and arrival to Issyk Lake After the tour of the Bear Waterfall, you will go to Issyk Lake (40 km, about 50 minutes), upon arrival you will have a walking tour (2 hours) Departure and arrival in Almaty After the Issyk Lake tour, you will go to the city (70 km, about 1.5 hours); upon arrival, I will leave you anywhere in the city Road length: 195 km Total tour time: 9 hours
