Jeep-tour In The Caucasus Mountains - 4 Days - Tbilisi
About this tour
Experience the beauty of one of the most pieturesque region of Georgia-Racha, on a 4-day jeep-tour. You will see the snow-covered Caucasus Mountains, at an altitude 3500m. Also, and winery, where well-known enemic wine-Khvanchkara is made. You will explore the special technologies of creating the wine and will have the opportunity to deguestation khvanchkara. We also offer comfortable accommodation, with three Georgian traditional meals a day.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Tbilisi, Georgia to Ghebi, Georgia
We start our tour in Tbilisi at 10 a.m. we will have breakfast on the way. We will pass through the towns Khashuri, Zestafoni, Terjola, Tkibuli. Crossing of Nakerala, lake Shaori. We will also visit Nikortsminda Cathedral. We will arrive in Ambrolauri and visit the winery of Kipiani and degustate the wine. Then, we will have dinner at a restaurant. After dinner we will go to Oni visit the museum of Oni and arrive at the hotel in the village of Gebi. We will have supper at the hotel.
Day 2: Ghebi, Georgia to Chiora, Georgia
After having breakfast we will go to the Caucasus snow-covered mountains at on altitude 3500m. By cars. We will prepare a barbecue, have dinner and return to the hotel, where we will have supper.
Day 3: Gona, Ghebi, Georgia to Ghebi, Georgia
After having breakfast we will go on a trip to Gona-a village, well-known for its stunning beauty. We will have a rest, have dinner on the bank of a river and return to the hotel in the evening and have supper there.
Day 4: Ghebi, Georgia to Tbilisi, Georgia
After having breakfast we will leave the hotel for Sachkhere-a town in Imereti. We will pass through Gori and arrive in Uplistsikhe-an ancient rock-hewn town in Eastern Georgia. We will also visit Mckheta-one of the oldest cities in Georgia and UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th. Century) and Jvari Monastery (6th. Century). Then we will have dinner at a restaurant. After dinner we will come back to Tbilisi where the trip ends.
