Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu, Nepal to Chitwan National Park, Nepal
Travel to Chitwan National Park The Chitwan National Park experience starts as we pick you up from the hotel/airport. We will drive you to Chitwan and drop you to the hotel. Our local guide in the hotel will brief you about the hotel and upcoming events, if necessary. Then after lunch, you will tour the local village of Tharu community. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. • Included: Transportation to Chitwan, Lunch, Dinner, Hotel Accommodation • Distance: 147 km from Pokhara and approx. 181 km from Kathmandu • Duration: 4-6 hrs • Accommodation: Hotel Green Park or similar
Day 2: Chitwan National Park, Nepal
Elephant Back Safari in Chitwan This is the day to experience all that is offered by the Chitwan and Chitwan National Park. Rise early morning for breakfast and go for an Elephant Back Safari or Jeep Safari, your choice. Chitwan National Park is known for over 700 species of faunas which includes the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger and One-horned Rhinoceros along with other animals and birds like Gharial Crocodile, Gaur, Four-horned Antelope, Pangolin, Wild Elephant, Python, Golden Monitor Lizard, Black Stork, White Stork, Bengal Florican, Lesser Florican, and Giant Hornbill. After the safari, let's take a break for lunch and continue the adventure with a canoe ride in Rapti River and visit the Elephant Breeding Center. Then after breakfast, you will proceed to travel back to the pickup location. This will be the end of 3 days and 2 nights Chitwan National Park and Chitwan tour.
