Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad, Pakistan
PM city tour of Rawalpindi & Islamabad. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Islamabad, Pakistan to Chilās
Driving on Karakoram Highway along River Indus. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Chilās to Hunza, Hunza Nagar
Drive to Hunza valley. Superb views of Nanga Parbat(8126m)Overnight at hotel Morning drive Dassu, Pattan, Mountain Ranges Junction called point. The three mountain ranges of Karakoram,Hindukush and Himalaya meet up at this point and we can see all three ranges at once. You can stop to see the rock carvings at Shatyal. Arriving at Hunza valley we visit the 900 year old Altit Fort. Then we head back up to Karimabad to visit the 750 year old Baltit fort. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Hunza, Hunza Nagar to Khunjerab Pass
HUnza (9hrs) Early morning visit Eagles Nest to see sun rise. We travel into the higher parts of Hunza valley to watch the famous sun rise over the 7000M+ Rakaposhi peak/Ultar-1/Ultar-2/Hunza Peak/Lady Finger/Diran/Golden (Spantik)/Barpu Glacier Here we shall be having breakfast . After breakfast, drive on KKH alongside Attabad Lake and upto drive to Khunerab Pass . Return to Hunza for overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Hunza, Hunza Nagar to Besham City, Pakistan
Drive back on KKH to Besham. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Besham City, Pakistan to Islamabad, Pakistan
Drive to Islamabad. Drop at airport. End of services.
