Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek
ARRIVAL DAY Meet the group at “Manas” Airport. Transfer to hotel for rest. After a lunch city tour of Bishkek. Visit Central Square Ala-Too, the monument of “Manas”, Oak Park, Soviet time Mall ‘TSUM’. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
BISHKEK – CHOLPON ATA - KARAKOL After breakfast, start driving by the north shore of Issik Kul lake. On the way, visit Burana Tower. Burana Tower is all that is left of the city of Balasagun, which was the capital of the Karakhanid Empire in the 9th century. Lunch en route. Stop in Cholpon Ata to see petroglyphs. Upon arrival at Karakol dinner at the local restaurant and overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan
KARAKOL - BARSKOON - CHOKOLU LAKE Drive 2 hours to Barskoon gorge where we will start the horse riding part of the tour. Picnic lunch in Barskoon. Our horse riding starts from the mountain pass Barskoon, 3 736 m. Horse riding time - 4hrs. Overnight in tents.
Day 4: Barskoon, Kyrgyzstan to Kyzyl-Suu Hot springs, Kyrgyzstan
CHOKOLU LAKE- ZHASHIL-KOL LAKE - ZHUKUU GORGE Start early morning. We go over the Zhukuu pass (3512 m), picnic-lunch. Cross Zhashil-Kol lake and meet real nomads. Installation of the camp. Horse riding time - 6-7hrs.
Day 5: Kyzyl-Suu Hot springs, Kyrgyzstan to Kashka-Suu, Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
ZHUKUU - ASHU KASHKA-SUU GORGE Horse riding from Zhukuu valley to Ashu Kashka-Suu gorge. Installation of camp. Horse riding time - 5-6hrs. Meals and overnight in tents.
Day 6: Kashka-Suu, Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
ASHU KASHKA-SUU - ZHUKUCHAK GORGE Depart early morning from Ashu Kashka-Suu valley. Drink tea or kymyz with nomads and possibly swim in natural hot springs(opt.). Horse riding time - 5-6hrs. Overnight in the yurt.
Day 7: Kashka-Suu, Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Pokrovka, Kyrgyzstan
ZHUKUCHAK GORGE - KICHI KYZYL-SUU After breakfast starts horse riding by Orto Bulak pass of 2 543 meters above sea level to the Kichi Kyzyl-Suu gorge. Arrival to the valley of the forest, installation of camp. Horse riding time - 5-6hrs. Overnight in tents.
Day 8: Pokrovka, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge, Pokrovka, Kyrgyzstan
KICHI KYZYL-SUU - CHON KYZYL-SUU, ZHILUU-SUU Start horse riding to Chon Kyzyl-Suu gorge which is known for its hot springs. Installation of camp. Horse riding time - 5-6hrs.
Day 9: Chon-Kyzyl-Suu gorge, Pokrovka, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
CHON KYZYL-SUU GORGE - ZHETI-OGUZ - KARAKOL Start to continue our amazing celestial horse riding to famous Zheti-Oguz gorge through the At-Jayloo pass of 2 751 m. Enjoy panoramic views of Issyk-Kul Lake! Transfer to Karakol.
Day 10: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
KARAKOL - BISHKEK Drive to Bishkek by the southern shore of Issyk-Kul lake. En route stop at Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. After hiking, continue driving. Upon arrival to Bishkek overnight in hotel.
Day 11: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
DEPARTURE DAY. BISHKEK AIRPORT Transfer to airport. See off the group.
