Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh to Leh
Day 01: Arrive in Leh (3,500m/10,500 ft) Catch an early morning 75-minute flight from Delhi to Leh, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, focus on acclimatization by staying hydrated and resting. Spend the day at leisure, exploring your hotel surroundings. Overnight stay in Leh
Day 2: Leh
Spend the day adjusting to the altitude while discovering Leh’s rich heritage. Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Spituk Monastery, and Namgyal Tsemo Monastery before returning to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the historic Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, or browse the local market for shopping. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Alchi
Day 03: Leh to Sham Valley – Exploring Hidden Gems Embark on a scenic drive to Sham Valley, discovering Ladakh’s lesser-known treasures. Visit Ulley Tokpo, Alchi Monastery, Likir Monastery, and Rigzong Monastery, each offering a glimpse into the region’s spiritual and architectural richness. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way before returning for an overnight stay in Uleytokpo
Day 4: Uleytokpo to Leh
Day 04 : Thrilling Rafting on the Zanskar River After breakfast, From Ulleytokpo, we will head back towards Leh, but first, we will stop at Sangam, the adventurous confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where you will experience river rafting. After completing the rafting session, you can change into dry clothes, and we will continue our 1-hour drive back to Leh. After lunch, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, if you feel like it, you can explore the local market.
Day 5: Leh to Stok Palace, Stok
Day 05: Biking Expedition to Stok Village Gear up for a 20km cycling journey to Stok Village. Explore the royal Stok Palace and savor a local lunch in the village. Later, pedal back to Leh, taking a scenic route via Stakna Monastery. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh
Day 06: Departure – Transfer to Leh Airport As your journey comes to an end, we bid you farewell with heartfelt gratitude. If we fell short in any way, we sincerely apologise and wish you a safe journey home.
