Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Djerba, Tunisie

Welcome to Djerba, the island of dreams. Your guide greets you at the airport and transfers you directly to your 4-star hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax by the pool, stroll to the nearby beach, or simply settle in and rest. The day is yours to unwind at your own pace – no pressure, no rushed itinerary. A smooth, comfortable start to your Star Wars adventure

Day 2: Djerba, Tunisie

Your first day in the galaxy takes you to Ajim, where you'll step into the legendary Mos Eisley cantina – the very spot where Han Solo shot Greedo and where Luke Skywalker first met the two smugglers who would change his life forever. You'll stand outside Obi-Wan Kenobi's house, the old hermit who introduced Luke to the power of the Force. Then on to Sidi Jemour, the departure point where Luke left Tatooine aboard the ship that launched his destiny among the stars. And because we want you to miss nothing of the Star Wars story in Tunisia, we'll also take you to locations that played a different role – the "scouting locations". These are the places the film's scouts explored as potential settings for the saga: the underground mosque, Bouchaddakh mosque, and Fadhloun mosque. Though they never made the final cut, walking through these sites gives you a rare behind-the-scenes look at how the real Tatooine was chosen. From there, we'll continue into the rich culture and heritage of Djerba. Stroll through the art-filled streets of Djerbahood, where murals have turned a whole village into an open-air museum. Explore Guellala, famous for its pottery workshops that have shaped Berber craftsmanship for centuries. And if time allows, wander through the colorful souks of Houmt Souk, where the scents of spices and the colors of local textiles tell another story – authentic, timeless, and deeply Tunisian. Around midday, you'll stop for lunch at a charming local spot. Later, return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight..

Day 3: Djerba, Tunisie to Tataouine, Tunisie

You leave Djerba behind and head toward Tataouine – the very region that gave its name to the desert planet Tatooine. The landscapes grow wilder, more ancient, more otherworldly. Your first stop is Ksar Ouled Soltane, a breathtaking fortified granary with multiple floors stacked like a beehive. This is the place that became the slave quarters of Mos Espa – where the oppressed of Tatooine lived under the heat of twin suns. Walking through its silent courtyards, you can almost hear the whispers of a galaxy far, far away. Then you climb to Chenini, a Berber village perched on a cliff like an eagle's nest. The panoramic view stretches forever. Here, you'll discover an ancient mosque and troglodyte dwellings carved into the mountainside – real, timeless, and deeply human. You continue to Douiret, another hilltop village where Berber history is etched into every stone. As the day softens, you settle into your Berber lodge for the night. Dinner is served. The stars above Douiret feel remarkably close – almost like home.

Day 4: Tataouine, Tunisie to Matmata, Tunisie

After breakfast in your Berber lodge, you leave the highlands behind and continue your journey toward Matmata, a landscape so strange and beautiful it could only exist on Tatooine – or right here in Tunisia. Matmata is famous for its troglodyte dwellings, homes carved deep into the rock to escape the desert heat. And at the heart of this underground world lies the Sidi Driss Hotel – a true sanctuary for Star Wars fans. This is the place where Luke Skywalker grew up. You'll stand in the very rooms where the Lars family lived, where young Luke looked out at the twin suns, dreaming of something bigger than a moisture farm. You'll explore more of these cave dwellings, walk through lunar-like landscapes, and feel what it means to live beneath the earth, under a sky that burns bright. Tonight, you don't just visit – you stay. You'll sleep in the legendary Sidi Driss Hotel, surrounded by the same walls that appeared in the saga. Dinner is served underground, in the heart of Tatooine.

Day 5: Matmata, Tunisie to Tozeur, Tunisie

After breakfast at the legendary Sidi Driss Hotel, you leave the troglodyte hills behind and set out across one of the most surreal landscapes on Earth – Chott El Jerid, the great salt lake. This vast, blinding-white expanse stretches farther than the eye can see, a cracked crust of salt and shimmering heat. On certain days, the mirages are so convincing you'll swear there's an ocean ahead. The silence is immense. The light is otherworldly. This is where the desert plays tricks on your mind – exactly the kind of place where a lost droid might wander or a podrace might thunder by. You'll cross this extraordinary flatland, stopping to take photos, touch the salt crystals, and feel the strange beauty of a place that seems to belong to another planet. Then you arrive in Tozeur, a lush green city where thousands of date palms rise from the desert. The contrast is striking – arid salt flats one moment, endless palm groves the next. You'll wander through the Andalusian-style medina, with its geometric brick facades – a quiet, beautiful neighborhood perfect for a short stroll.

Day 6: Tozeur, Tunisie

After breakfast, you step deeper into the Star Wars universe. Today is all about Mos Espa – the legendary city of Tatooine where young Anakin Skywalker lived as a slave and dreamed of becoming a pilot. Your first stop is Ong Jmal, home to the famous domes and buildings of Mos Espa. You'll walk through the same dusty streets where Anakin raced his podracer, where Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi first discovered the boy who would change the galaxy. The domes rise from the sand just as they did in the film – timeless, strange, unforgettable. Along the way, you'll cross Chott El Gharsa, another vast salt flat that stretches to the horizon. This is where the legendary Paris-Dakar rally thunders through – and you'll follow a small part of that same historic route. Desert racers, Jedi pilgrims – the salt welcomes everyone. Then you visit La Corbeille de Nefta (Nefta's Basket), a natural crater surrounded by palm trees. This stunning landscape was used for iconic desert scenes, a hidden pocket of green in the middle of nowhere. From there, you explore the mountain oases – three jewels carved into the arid cliffs. Chebika, an ancient Roman citadel turned into an oasis with cool waterfalls. Tamerza, an abandoned village with breathtaking views. And Mides, where deep gorges cut through the rock, perfect for wandering and wondering. Each stop is a blend of nature, history, and that unmistakable Star Wars atmosphere. Finally, return to your hotel in Tozeur. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tozeur, Tunisie to Djerba, Tunisie

After breakfast, you leave the oases of Tozeur behind and begin your journey back toward Djerba. The desert landscapes unfurl alongside you one last time – vast, silent, and majestic. The drive is a final farewell to the Tunisia that became Tatooine. Salt flats, rocky plains, and distant dunes roll past the window. You can let your mind wander, replay the scenes you've walked through, and feel how deeply this land is woven into the Star Wars saga. You arrive in Djerba in the afternoon. Check back into your 4-star hotel. The rest of the day is yours – to breathe the sea air, sink your toes into the sand, or simply rest by the pool. Dinner is served at the hotel. One last night on the island of dreams.

Day 8: Djerba, Tunisie to Aéroport de Djerba Zarzis, Mellita, Tunisie

After breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours until your flight. Whether you choose to sleep in, take one last stroll along the beach, or simply relax by the pool, the pace is entirely up to you. When the time comes, your guide transfers you to Djerba International Airport for your departure. Eight days. One galaxy. A lifetime of memories. May the Force be with you.
