About this tour
Altay Tavan Bogd national Park is spectacular place with the wild nature, sacred mountains, thousand years historical petro-glyphs and a white river fed from the glacier and flowing for several kilometers. Surrounding the river live nomadic ethnic groups such as the Tuvan people who are famous for their throat singing, and Khazakh people who train Golden Eagles for hunting and hospitality to everyone.
This itinerary will take us into the heart of the Altai Mountains where Golden Eagles, Eagle hunter, the nomadic life and in a truly mythic landscape and culture. You can be real eagle hunter with nomadic eagle hunters.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
By your arrival in UB meet by our guide and transfer to hotel. Today we will do city site seeing tour. Explore Gandan Monestry, Buddhist center in UB., Zanabazar museum, and The Winter Palace. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia
Arrival in Bayan Ulgi we will drive to nomadic eagle hunters family about 3hours. You will introduce with their lifestyle, their tradition and train the eagle. Overnight in wooden house.
Day 3: Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia to Biluu, Mongolia
The Mongolian Kazakhs use for hunting female eagles as far they are bigger mail ones and more aggressive. These eagles are trained to hunt foxes, wolves, rabbit and wild cat. Today we are going to side by side on horseback with eagle hunter to hunt mostly fox we learn and enjoy this unique customs of the Mongolian . Overnights in wooden winter house.
Day 4: Biluu, Mongolia to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia
After breakfast we will drive to Altay Tavan Bogd National Park to the Shiveet sacred mountain. We will drive between the high Altay Mountains and spectacular view around you. On the way, we stop for lunch just by the river and keep our driving. We able to see the Turcik ancient man stone. After driving about 4 hours we reach to the SHiveet sacred mountai and see the ancient petro-glyph. Overnight in wooden house.
Day 5: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, Mongolia to Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia
After breakfast we will do hiking to Shiveet sacred mountain to enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. Possible to see wild ibex in this mountain. Surrounded snowcapped mountain and glacier is spectacular view with the blue sky. Afternoon drive back to Bayan Ulgii anout 5hours. Overnight in hotel .
