Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Gorno-Altaysk, Russia to Uymonskaya Kotlovina, Ust'-Koksa, Russia
Arrival to the village of Kucherla. Overnight in a cottage at the recreation center. Residence. Bath. Dinner.
Day 2: Kucherla, Russia to Pereval Kara-Tyurek, Russia
Driving safety briefing. Trekking along the valley of the Kucherla river, climbing the Karakai ridge in the Ortodo tract or Kamennaya hut. Overnight in tents in the Ortodo tract. The journey takes 6-7 hours.
Day 3: Kucherla, Russia to Meteostantsiya Kara-Tyurek, Russia
Moving along the Kara-Kaya ridge to the Kara-Turek pass. All together, stunning views of the Katunsky ridge, the Kucherla river valley and the Kucherlinskoye lake open up. From the Kara-Turek pass, in good weather, magnificent views of the Kadyn Bazhi (Belukha) peaks open. Descent from the Kara-Turek pass to the meteorological station. Overnight in tents or in a house at the hydrometeorological station (HMS). Sauna and hot cakes can be ordered. The journey takes 6-7 hours.
Day 4: Meteostantsiya Kara-Tyurek, Russia
Tracking. Radial exit to the most mystical place in the Jarlu valley. An unusually beautiful place primarily because of the multi-colored rocks, the colors of which become especially bright after rain. The upper part of the ridge separating the valleys of the Yarlu and Tekelu rivers looks like a lying woman and is called the Mother of the World. And the bright purple-red rock, which stands out as a bright spot against the background of the ridge, is called the Mother's Heart. A huge number of legends and myths are associated with these places. Esotericists and mediums claim that it is here that the most powerful places of power are located. Roerich's followers consider him a saint. In 2002, a whole town of stones was built in the Jarlu Valley. It is located in the center of the gorge around a monolithic white stone block that has grown into the ground, which is called the "Stone-Master". Belukha Mountains. You will see them with your own eyes and feel their power. Rest in the valley. The length is 6 km.
Day 5: Meteostantsiya Kara-Tyurek, Russia to Akkemskoye Ozero, Russia
Tracking. Radial hike to the AkKemsky glacier. The glacier offers a stunning view of the AkKemsky glacier and the Kadyn Bazhi peaks. The length is 12 km.
Day 6: Akkemskoye Ozero, Russia to Meteostantsiya Kara-Tyurek, Russia
Tracking. Radial hike to the valley of the Seven Lakes at the foot of the White Guard (Ak-Ayu). You will see alpine meadows, waterfalls and alpine lakes. The length is 8 km.
Day 7: Meteostantsiya Kara-Tyurek, Russia to Pereval Kara-Tyurek, Russia
We return home. Ascent to the Kara-Turek pass and descent to the valley of the Kucherla river in the area of Kamennaya izba. Overnight in tents near Kucherlinskaya Pisanitsa.
Day 8: Pereval Kara-Tyurek, Russia to Kucherla, Russia
Valley of the Kucherla River - Tourist base "Bayry". Return to Kucherla Village. Accommodation in houses, lunch, sauna.
Day 9: Kucherla, Russia to Gorno-Altaysk, Russia
Departure to Gorno-Altaysk. At the request of the group, settling in the village. Upper Uimon. Excursion to the museum of N.K. Roerich, Museum of Old Belief and Museum of the Sun. Tour price does not include.

All my travels begin with the city of Gorno-Altaisk. Under the additional agreement I can meet you in the cities of Biysk / Barnaul / Novosibirsk. At the request of tourists, you can extend your stay at AkKemsky or Kucherlinsky lakes, as well as change the route. ATTENTION! Entry to the border zone is carried out strictly by passes - they are issued within 15 days (for citizens of the Russian Federation) and 30 days (for citizens of foreign states). We take care of the registration of passes.
