5 Days Narran Kaghan Pakistan

The narrow, green Kaghan Valley is one of the most beautiful in Pakistan and reminiscent of the alpine scenery of Europe. There are many hill stations in this beautiful valley. Balakot, the gateway to the Kaghan Valley, is about four hours drive from Islamabad. Continue drive towards Kawai, 24 kilometers from Balakot, a track leads off to the right and climbs steeply up to the plateau of Shogran. At Kawai we will leave the main road going to the Kaghan & Naran and turn on this track going to Shogran. The road winds up through dense pine forests. Arrive Shogran, at 2400 meters above sea level, stands well above the valley, and is the most beautiful place to spend the weekend. As we travel through Kaghan, we pass hamlets with stone and wood homes surrounded by rice fields. We follow the Kunhar River until we reach the village of Naran (2,427 m), backed by the river. Visit Saiful-Maluk Lake, where the peak of Malika Parbat (5390 m) is mirrored in the deep blue waters. This lake was named after Prince Saiful-Maluk who fell in love with a fairy whom he saw bathing in the lake
