Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Luxor International Airport, Egypt to Luxor, Egypt
Luxor East side : Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Luxor Airport (preferably before 11 AM), where our representative will meet and assist you. From there, you'll take a 20-minute drive reach the magnificent Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt. Walk through its vast courtyards, towering columns, and intricate carvings that narrate ancient history. After your visit 1PM, you will head to your Nile cruise ship for check-in. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard, take some time to relax, and soak in the stunning Nile views. In the afternoon around 5PM, your adventure continues with a visit to the Luxor Temple, a beautifully preserved site in the heart of the city. Marvel at its grand statues, massive pillars, and fascinating hieroglyphics, offering a glimpse into Egypt's glorious past. After the tour around 7PM, you'll return to the cruise ship to unwind and enjoy a delightful Dinner onboard, preparing for the incredible experiences ahead.
Day 2: Luxor, Egypt to Esna, Egypt
Luxor West Side : Your day begins at 7AM with a hearty breakfast onboard the Nile cruise, preparing you for another day of exploration. The adventure starts with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial ground of Egypt’s pharaohs. Wander through elaborately decorated tombs, including those of famous rulers, and marvel at the intricate carvings and vibrant colors that have withstood the test of time. Next, you'll head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Learn about the fascinating history of Egypt’s first female pharaoh as you admire the temple’s unique design and stunning surroundings. On your way back, you'll make a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Amenhotep III that have stood for centuries, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Thebes. After the tour, you’ll return to the cruise ship around 1PM for lunch and some leisure time to relax and enjoy the views as the cruise begin sailing to Edfu for overnight stay while passing the Isna lock along the Nile. Dinner will be served onboard, setting the stage for more discoveries in the days ahead.
Day 3: Esna, Egypt to Edfu, Egypt
Edfu & Kom Ombo : Today’s starts at 8AM with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Marvel at its impressive pylons, intricate carvings, and statues that showcase the grandeur of ancient Egyptian architecture and mythology. After exploring Edfu, the cruise continues sailing around 10AM toward Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo. This fascinating double temple is dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Admire its symmetrical design, captivating reliefs, and the ancient crocodile mummies displayed in the adjoining museum. Following the tours, you’ll return to the cruise to relax and enjoy Oriental Dinner followed by Galabiya Party onboard as the ship sails toward Aswan and overnight in Aswan.
Day 4: Edfu, Egypt to Aswan, Egypt
Aswan : Today, the day starts at 7 Am after breakfast we explore the beautiful city of Aswan, starting with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering marvel built in the 1960s to control the Nile’s flow and provide electricity. Next, we’ll take a short boat ride to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, a stunning structure dedicated to the goddess Isis. Surrounded by water, this picturesque temple offers breathtaking views and fascinating stories of ancient Egyptian mythology. After the tours, you’ll return to the cruise for lunch and relaxation and Tea time on board., soaking in the beauty of the Nile and in the night Dinner on board and Nubian Show on the Lounge Bar.
Day 5: Aswan, Egypt to Abu Simbel, Egypt
Temples of Abu-Simbel : Start your day at 4,30 Am with breakfast box from the boat, an early morning journey across the desert to the magnificent Temples of Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks. Built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II in the 13th century BC, these twin temples were dedicated to Ramses II and his queen, Nefertari. Admire the colossal statues at the entrance and the detailed carvings inside, showcasing ancient Egyptian art and history. The journey end around 1pm and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
