Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Sport Hotel, Aşgabat, Turkmenistan
Meet the local guide at the Ashgabat International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Rest time. In the afternoon at 14:30, Ashgabat city tour: visit the main tourist attractions in the capital, including parks and monuments, an impressive mosque, and other iconic buildings. After lunch, visit “Old Nisa” - The Sanctuary of Parthian Kings (UNESCO site), and continue with the “Gypjak” Mosque and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Transport - Regular bus Meals - Lunch at a local restaurant / Dinner at a local traditional restaurant (Not including the Tour Price) Accommodation - Overnight at the hotel – Sport 4* or similar
Day 2: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ahal, Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan is preparing to celebrate one of the most revered holidays - Novruz Holiday, which has an international status. Turkmen people always welcome Novruz Holiday with a big bang. Festive events are held in compliance with national traditions and rituals. Costumed performances with the participation of song and dance ensembles and folklore groups of the country are played out at impromptu concert venues. An integral part of the celebrations are the performances of folk bakhshis, young boys and girls ride high swings, and horse races take place at the hippodromes. On the days of the holiday, it is customary to put on new clothes, go to visit, give gifts and forgive each other old grievances. Day 3: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Derweze, Turkmenistan
Ashgabat “Altyn Asyr” Bazaar - Darvaza – Gas Crater Meet the local guide at the hotel lobby. 9:00 after breakfast visit The eastern bazaar “Altyn Asyr” is the first largest market in Ashgabat and Turkmenistan and the 5th largest in Central Asia. Located in the suburbs of Ashgabat, in the Choganly residential area. Built in a shape reminiscent of a carpet göl of the Ahal velayat, a huge area of 154 hectares. Afternoon, have lunch at a local restaurant ( lunch not included in tour price). Continue driving through the Karakum desert to Darvaza, in the afternoon at 15:00 trip to Darvaza – Gas Crater, which is a huge flaming crater located 270 km to the north of Ashgabat. Visiting one of the villages, Bahardok or Erbentto, observe the rural life of Turkmen people. Continue with moving to the Water, Clay and Gas Crater. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater.Visit the Gas Crater. Stay in a camp with tasty catering; the perfect way to enjoy this highlight. Observe the fantastic view of the crater during daylight and at night, feel the heat, and listen to the sound that this giant oven creates. Accommodation - Overnight in a tent under the starry sky
Day 4: Derweze, Turkmenistan to Köneürgench, Turkmenistan
Darvaza – Kunya Urgench – Ashgabat After breakfast, drive to the North province of Turkmenistan, to the architectural monuments of Old Urgench, the capital of Khorezm in X-XII centuries. Visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum, Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, and the highest minaret in Central Asia, Kutlyg Timur. Dashoguz city tour. Transfer to the airport for a local flight at 20:10. From Ashgabat airport, transfer to a local restaurant for dinner. Transport - Regular Minibus - Jeep Meals - Breakfast picnic-style. Lunch at a local restaurant / Dinner at a local restaurant ( lunch not included in tour price) Accommodation - Overnight at the hotel – Sport 4* or similar
Day 5: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
