Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Dushanbe, Tajikistan to Nurek Dam, Tajikistan
We depart from Dushanbe, traveling through scenic mountain passes and small villages. Upon arrival at Nurek Reservoir, you will see a vast artificial lake with turquoise water, surrounded by majestic peaks. We take stunning photos, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and mountain views, and, weather permitting, you can take a boat ride. We share the story of the reservoir’s creation, the local hydroelectric power station, and their importance for the country. Afterwards, you have free time to relax by the water, take a short walk, or do a photoshoot. Then we return to Dushanbe through the mountain passes, enjoying the final views of the scenic landscape.
