Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Yerevan, Armenia

We’ll leave Yerevan in the morning and drive to Aparan for a full day in the snow. Once we arrive, I’ll help you rent the equipment you need and purchase your ski pass. After that, you’ll have time to ski, snowboard, and enjoy the mountain at your own pace. If you prefer to take it easy or someone in your group doesn’t want to ski, there is a café and bar at the resort where you can relax, have something to eat or drink, and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. At the end of the day, we’ll meet again and drive back to Yerevan.

What to know

Skis, ski boots, snowboards, poles and helmets can be rented directly at the ski resort, so you don’t need to bring your own equipment. However, I recommend arriving with appropriate winter or ski clothing, including a warm waterproof jacket, ski pants, gloves and sunglasses or goggles. Bring an extra pair of socks. If your clothes are not waterproof, I also recommend bringing a complete change of clothes for the ride back to Yerevan. No skiing experience is necessary to enjoy the day. If you don’t want to ski or simply want to take a break, you can relax at the café and bar while enjoying the snowy mountain setting.
