Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Osh, Kyrgyzstan to Tulpar Lake, Kyrgyzstan

Osh-south of Kyrgyzstan. after breakfast leaving towards Tulpar lake on the Highway M-41. Taldyk pass, lunch time in Sarytash town. arriving in Tulpar lake-yurt camp near Lenin Peak. 3000m. shirt hike up to traveller pass. 4200m. 4h. 5 hours driving

Day 2: Osh, Kyrgyzstan to Murghab, Tajikistan

Tulpar lake-Murghab. crossing tajik state border at Kyzylart pass 4280m. spectacular view from Karakul lake. having lunch there and arrival time to Murghab. accommodation-guest house. 3600m 6h driving

Day 3: Murghab, Tajikistan to Alichur, Tajikistan

Murghab-Maljuran yurt camp. After breakfast drive to old soviet observatory on Shorbulak pass seeing Muztagh and Kongur peaks in China, visiting Shakhty rock paintings, having lunch in Alichur town. Maljuran yurt camp with a hot thermal bath. 3700m. hike up to to Makh peak 4700m. there is an amazing view to whole peaks surrounding (Engels and Marx) and Bulunkul Yashilkul lakes. 2h. hike. traditional nomad style of nomadic people in East Pamir. on the way Tuzkul, Shorkul lake, thermal geyzer and wild life of East Pamir. 5h driving.

Day 4: Alichur, Tajikistan to Yamchun, Ямчун, Tajikistan

Maljuran-Yamchun. The beginning of Wakhan valley through Khargush pass (4300m). Hindukush peaks, Langar rock paintings. arrival Yamchun-guest house. after getting the accommodation, visiting Bibifotima thermal SPA and Yamchun castle to meet the sunset on the roof of the world. 5h driving

Day 5: Yamchun, Ямчун, Tajikistan to Khorog, Tajikistan

Yamchun-Khorog. passing by Ishkashim town-the capital of Wakhan. stopping for Kaha castle, Garmchashma thermal SPA. Arrival in Khorog-the capital of Pamir. Local central market. Purchase some souvenirs. overnight guest house or hotel 3* 5h driving

Day 6: Khorog, Tajikistan to Kalaikhum, Tajikistan

Khorog-Kalaihumb. drive along afghan border following Panj river. overnight guest house or hotel 4*. 5h driving.

Day 7: Kalaikhum, Tajikistan to Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Kalaihumb-Dushanbe. the last day of our trip in Tajikistan. driving via Kylab city, having lunch there. on the way we can see Norak water dam, Khulbuk fort, Hoja Mumin salt maining. 6h driving.
