This two-day tour gives you the opportunity to visit three precious places at once, the Charyn Canyon, Lake Kolsai and Lake Kaindy.
The Charyn Canyon is the younger brother of the Grand Canyon, formed in the Paleogene epoch, as a result of the fracture of the Earth's Crust. It is located in the spurs of the Tien Shan, 240 km from the city of Almaty.
Kolsai lakes – includes 3 lakes Kolsai 1 (Saty) – 1000m, Kolsai 2 (Mynzhygly) - 2500m, Kolsai 3 (Upper Kolsai) -2700m above sea level. Located in the Northern Tien Shan in the Kolsai Gorge
Kaindy Lake – Not far from the lake there is a birch grove, after which this lake is named Birch. Kaindy Lake was formed in 1911 after the Kemin earthquake, but it acquired its current appearance only in the late 80s of the last century
Day 1 Almaty - Charyn Canyon - Kaidy -Departure from Almaty (in the morning), to the Charyn canyon (220 km, about 3 hours) --Arrival in Charyn Canyon, trekking tour (3-5 km, 2.5 hours) -Departure to the village of Saty (guest house) (100 km, about 1.5 hours), lunch --Departure to Kaindy Lake (15 km, about 40 minutes), trekking tour 2-4 km (3 hours) -Departure to the village of Saty (15 km, about 40 minutes), dinner-free time -Overnight at the guest house
Day 2 Kolai Lake - Black Canyon - Almaty city -Breakfast in Saty (guest house) -Departure to Kolsai Lake (15 km approximately 20 minutes) -Arrival to Kolsai Lake, trekking tour (2-6 km, 3 hours) -Departure to the village of Saty (guest house) (15 km, about 20 minutes), lunch -Departure to the Observation deck of the Black Canyon (60 km, approximately 50 minutes) -Departure to Almaty (220 km approximately 3 hours), the driver will leave you anywhere in the city
