Today morning you will fly from Delhi to Leh. Our staff will meet you as soon as you arrive at the airport and take you from the airport to the hotel for rest. As soon as you are able to stay at such a height after stopping at the hotel, then you can enjoy walking in the markets there in the evening. After walking in the markets you will stay at the hotel for a good sleep.
Today, we will first visit the nearest monastery of Leh, Shey Gompa, which the Emperor of Ladakh used to live in during the summer. After this, you will also see the Shea Palace built by Deldan Namgyal which was built in the early 17th century. Also, inside the Drestang Gompa, you will see the 12-meter high Shakyamuni Buddha statue which is the main attraction there. After seeing the beautiful view here, we will visit Thikse Gompa, the most beautiful monastery of Ladakh, situated on the top of the mountain near Shee Gompa. People here believe in Tibetan Buddhism. We will now proceed towards the Hemis Monastery, 45 km from Leh. Built-in the late 18th century, this monastery is one of the most popular and largest monasteries in Ladakh. Tonight we will stop here at the guest house.
This morning we will have breakfast early and leave for Nubra Valley. To go to Nubra Valley we will first go to the world's highest motor capable Khardung La Pass (18,380.fts). From Khardungla Pass you will get a chance to see the entire high snow-covered hills of Leh and surrounding areas. Now we will leave for Nubra Valley from here. Nubra Valley is a triangular valley cut by large rivers and it is also called Valley of Flowers. Two hump camels are also found here. Once you reach there, you will also enjoy the camel ride. We will stay at the guest house for a good night's sleep.
Today we will go to Sumur Gompa after breakfast and from there we will go back to Leh. Stay overnight at Leh's hotel.
Today we will visit many beautiful places in Leh. After breakfast early in the morning, Spituk Gompa, Sikh Gurdwara Pather Sahib, and its world-renowned Magnetic Hill will then visit the confluence of Zanskar - the Indus River at Nimmu and the Hall of Fame built-in memory of Indian soldiers who died in the Indo-Pak Wars. We will stay here at the hotel at night.
After breakfast early in the morning, we will start a long drive to Lake Pangong via Changla Pass. During this journey, we will see valleys with beautiful and adorable views of the surroundings and many villages en route. While driving we will stop at Tsoltak where the yaks are brought to graze in summer and this is where we will stop for a picnic lunch. After that, we will start our journey again which will take you to the shore of the lake. Once you reach there, you will see the never-ending mesmerizing scene and there you can capture this scene which is memorable forever on your camera. This world-famous blue lake of Pangong is 6 km wide and more than 145 km long, most of which is in the Indo China border. We will drive back to Leh afternoon after resting for a while there and capturing the natural and beautiful scenery there on our camera. Tonight we will spend in Leh. And this will be the last day of our tour.
After breakfast in the morning, our staff will bid you goodbye at Leh airport on time and from there we will fly to Delhi.
