Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
In the morning our guide will meet you at the Airport and will take you straight to National Park Chon-Kemin. Chon-Kemin gorge is one of the biggest in Kyrgyzstan, which settles around mountain ridge with Chon-Suu River. Chon-Suu River is very popular around local trout fishers because of its brown trout and rainbow trout. Guesthouse you are going to is in a small amazing gorge with cottages on the outskirts of wood. In that place you can have a rest from the town noise and enjoy nature. By avrrival time you will have tasty breakfast with berry jams picked in that mountain gorge. After breakfast you will have time for a shower and rest. In the afternoon you’ll get unforgettable 2 hours Horseback riding Tour, which will pass through miracle pine wood, rivulets and you’ll get to the top of the mountain with panoramic view on Chon-Kemin gorge. You’ll have a national cuisine dinner at the Guesthouse. Guesthouse stayfor the night.
Day 2: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast we go to the coast of Issyk-Kul Lake to the village of Kyzyl-Tuu. There, the Yurt Show awaits you, where you can see and take part in the installation of the yurt, as nomads did in ancient times. After the Yurt Show, you will have a master class on cooking boorsok. Boorsok is a traditional pastry product of nomads, which is fried in a cauldron with small, flat pieces of dough. A delicious lunch will be in the same house, after which we will go to a small town called Kochkor. Upon arrival, we will check you into a comfortable hotel. After a short rest, we will go to the local family, which is engaged in the manufacture of national, traditional felt products. Where you will learn how to make felt and visit a souvenir shop where you can buy souvenirs for your family and friends. Dinner upon return to the hotel.
Day 3: Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan to Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, we set off along the Silk Road to Tash-Rabat, where you will get acquainted with the history and visit the caravanseray. Tash Rabat is a well-preserved 15th century stone caravanserai in At Bashy district, Naryn Province , located at analtitude of 3,200 meters. The structure consists of 31 rooms, including chambers in the central hall. The rooms are square and topped with domes, which have openings for light at the top; transition from a quadrangular frame to a dome is done using a squinch . Tash Rabat is completely made of rubble stone on clay mortar with gypsum mortar sealing joints. One of the furthest rooms also has a deep hole in the floor that reminds a well. After lunch, you will have a walk around the area, visiting the caravanserai and horseback riding to the panorama, from where you will have a magnificent view of the valley. Dinner and overnight at the yurt camp.
Day 4: Tash-Rabat, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
After the breakfast our guide will take you to the high-altitude mountainous Son-Kul Lake. You’ll also see extraordinary landscapes. The road to Son-Kul will pass through 32 Parrots Pass which name came from the number of serpentines leading to the top. The Lake is situated on 3016 meters above the sea level around mountain ridges and green grass, there are no trees because of the altitude. Also you can see many house pets: horses, cows and sheep from the whole region. If you are lucky, you can also meet yaks. That area is a very good grazing. Also there’re a lot of Urt Camps, Herdsmen Camps and Tourist Camps because that place is very popular among tourists By arrival time, before and after dinner you’ll get to know the Kyrgyz nomad style of life and will have time for a walk around the area. Dinner and stay at the Urt Camp.
Day 5: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
In the morning after breakfast, we leave for the capital Bishkek through another equally beautiful Kalmak-Ashuu pass. Lunch will be on the way to the cafe. Upon arrival in Bishkek, we will accommodate you at the hotel. You will have time to take a shower and get some rest from the road. After that, our guide will bring you to the city center, where you will walk along the central Ala-Too square, Oak Park and get acquainted with the local landmark. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner at one of the best restaurants “Navat”. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
