A trek through Sapa's terraced rice fields is a bucket-list item for many tourists when they come to Vietnam, This trekking tour that takes you to Ta Van is an exciting opportunity to visit ethnic minority villages and take in the beautiful surrounds of this gorgeous region. With the help of your friendly local guide, you learn about the daily activities and culture of the local people as your walk through the landscapes that Sapa is famous for.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Sa Pa, Vietnam to Ta Van, Vietnam
Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa at 8:30 a.m and start your trek through Muong Hoa valley and the Hoang Lien ranges. You'll get to meet Black H'Mong tribes and explore minority villages along the river. Trekking distance up to 15km, can be flexible following your health status and interests. We'll end the day in Ta Van and spend the night with a Zay family.
Day 2: Ta Van, Vietnam to Sa Pa, Vietnam
Your trek will be through bamboo forest and visit Giang Ta Chai waterfall. Trekking distance up to 15km, can be flexible following your health status and interests. You'll visit a Red Zao minority village and continue up the mountain, entering Su Pan village, home to another H'Mong community. Here you'll be picked up and returned to Sapa
What's included
Day 1 includes English speaking local guide. Meals (L.D). Homestay. Day 2 includes English speaking local guide. Meals (B. L). Transfer from trekking point to the center of Sapa.
Kindly note that the tickets from Hanoi or other destinations to Sapa and vice versa are not included.
