About this tour
East Kazakhstan is distinguished by its untouched nature and extraordinary beauty. The region occupies the easternmost part of Kazakhstan, on both sides of the Irtysh River and Lake Zaisan. The administrative center is the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The region occupies a very diverse geographical and climatic range, including the Altai Mountains in the east and the eastern outskirts of the Kazakh steppes in the west of the region.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Semey, Kazakhstan to Ust' Kamenogorsk, Oskemen, Kazakhstan
I meet you at the station/airport Lunch We will visit the Abai Museum (The historical building where the great Kazakh poet Abai visited. Historical things of the 19th century) History-of-the-land Museum Central Square We will visit the suspension bridge of Semipalatinsk In the evening we will go to Ust Kamenogorsk We will be waiting for an overnight stay in a house with national Kazakh food
Day 2: Ust'-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan to Katon-Karagay, Kazakhstan
In the morning we will departure to Katon Karagay On the way we will stop in beautiful places We will arrive in Berel and visit the Valley of Kings (500 km)(Where are all the rulers of the Nomadic states of antiquity buried) We will visit the Rakhmanov kluchi (The healing spring of the lake at the top of 1760 m) trekking Dinner Overnight There
Day 3: Katon-Karagay, Kazakhstan to Ust'-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan
We will visit Zaisan Lake Kiin Kerish Gorge (martian view) We'll take the Ferry across Zaisan Lake We will visit the ancient astronomical site, rock paintings and petroglyphs of Akbauyr Arrival in Ust Kamenogorsk Dinner
Day 4: Ust'-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan
We will visit the largest mosque in East Kazakhstan We will visit an Ethnic village We will visit The Irtysh Hydroelectric Power Station We will visit the Mountain Kazakhstan (The highest point in the city, the city is visible at a glance. you can go up by car. there is a monument and a flag) We will have dinner at the restaurant with national food I'll drive you to the train in the evening
