Seven-day Culture Tour
About this tour
This 7-day tour offers a rich program including visits to the
high-mountainous Lake Son-Kul, picturesque canyons
Barskoon and Skazka, and the famous Djety-Oguz Gorge. You
will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature, get acquainted with
the culture and traditions of Kyrgyzstan.
During the tour travelers will visit cultural and historical sights
such as Burana Tower and ancient stone sculptures, as well as
national workshops where you can see the process of creating
yurts and handicrafts. Excursions to unique natural sites and
walks to waterfalls are planned.
Special emphasis is made on immersion in local traditions:
guests will be able to watch hunting with golden eagles and
learn about the ancient customs of the Kyrgyz people.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Meeting at Manas Airport.Hotel accommodation.Time for rest, city tour in Bishkek.Dinner in local restaurant. Return to hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, drive to Son-Kol Lake. On the way visit Burana Tower, outdoor museum and tombstones (stone figures). Stop at the observation deck of Orto-Tokoi reservoir. Arrival to Kochkor, lunch. Arrival at 02 Son-Kol. Check-in at Ulush Yurts eco-ethno-town.
Day 3: Song-Kul, Kyrgyzstan to Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan
Transfer to the village of Bokonbaevo. On the way stop in the village Kyzyl-Tuu, in a local family, which are making yurts, showing and participating in the process of making and collecting national dwellings. Arrival in Bokonbaevo, demonstration of hunting with mountain golden eagles according to ancient traditions.Accommodation in guest house. Dinner, free time.
Day 4: Bokonbayevo, Kyrgyzstan to Jeti Oguz, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, departure to Jety Oguz. On the way drive to the sights of the south shore, Fairy Tale Canyon and Barskoon Canyon, walk to 3 waterfalls. Stop at the rock of the broken heart and the seven 04 bulls. Accommodation in the ethno complex, Ulush Complex.
Day 5: Jeti Oguz, Kyrgyzstan to Karakol, Kyrgyzstan
Morning two kilometer trekking to the waterfall Maiden Spits. Breakfast and departure to Karakol town. On the way we stop on the shore of Issyk Kul, for kayaking along the coast of Issyk Kul. Departure to Karakol and start city tour around the city. Visit to local craftsmen and artists. Dinner in a Dungan local family with folklore show, playing national instruments and story about musical culture.
Day 6: Karakol, Kyrgyzstan to Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan
Departure to Chon-Kemin Gorge. On the way drive to Semenovskoye Gorge, visit Suttu Bulak Lake, descend through Grigorievskoye Gorge, meet a beekeeper who will tell about varieties of honey. Stop in Cholpon Ata, visit cultural and spiritual center Rukh Ordo named after Chingiz Aitmatov. Visit Chyngyz Aitmatov cultural and spiritual center. Arrival in Chon-Kemin village, check-in and wagon ride around the area with stories about the sights and famous people of the place. Dinner and free time.
Day 7: Chon-Kemin, Kyrgyzstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
After breakfast, 3-4 hour horseback riding in Chon-Kemin valley. Return to the guest house, lunch and departure to the city. On the way you will also visit the beautiful Kegeti Gorge and the waterfall of the same name. We will drive to the city through the mountain road Maevka where a beautiful panorama of the mountains and the Maevka gorge will open up. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and rest.
